Turned up after 9pm and car park was pitch black. Didn’t realise you had to pay for parking as car park has minimal light.What Pub makes u pay for parking anyway when you are getting food, drinks and spending over £200 between a group.Enjoy my £60 fine as it’s last bit of money ur ever getting off me

Disgraceful a very average pub charges customers for parking, had a fine of £100 in the post after meeting a friend. Would never visit again but I do recommend the pub just around the corner! A lovely pub with FREE parking!! Shocked the crown doesn’t remind customers to pay for parking but understandable as customers would go elsewhere instead.

If you're looking for a decent meal I wouldn't bother. Steak offer all day.....but they have no steak?! no jam sponge either. Add to this the mayonnaise was off which I only realised after I put it all over my chips! I definitely won't be returning.
I have only eaten once in The Crown and it was a while back. The food was nice: I had scampi and chips. The staff in The Crown are very nice. I recently lost the tiny glass front of my gold watch in there and amazingly the staff found it and kept it for me. Also my cat escaped from my new build house by accident and the lady in The Crown put out messages on Facebook for me. Fortunately my cat came back. I always find everyone in there polite and helpful.

Had not been to Albrighton for a long while ( lived there for 20 years ) met friends for drinks nice to see the old place , drove 2 hours back home , 3 days later got a parking ticket for £100 thought it was a scam , telephoned the crown and they told me they have parking charges , must say did not look for car park charges , beer was ok but will not be going to the crown again

Unless things change i will not come back here. The portions are minimal for the value of the meal. May as well left the chips off the meal as hardly any on the plate. Left on the warmer for ages too.

AVOID this place unless you want to be served with a parking fine even though you have paid for your parking!!!Landlady very rude & unhelpful even though it was her member of staff that had told us should we have a problem that the landlady would deal with the parking company on our behalf.Also submitted a complaint to Marstons about landlady & parking fine.
