Well TBH I don't think Gordon Ramsey's got anything to panic about but having said that it's good wholesome Sunday carvery food that is served which is tasty and with good sized portions .The staff are all very pleasant and efficient. We have been the last two weeks ( and probably again this week ! ) as we are having work done at home and a Sunday lunch for two with soft drinks and almost fast food service for under £25 .............what's not to like .........see you Sunday !!!!!

Wow. Wonderful place. Large enough for a while range of things to satisfy all your needs. And personal enough to be welcoming and friendly. The prices are comparable and in fact their deals make some amazing feelings of value. Well laid out and the restaurant is sublime could not reccomend the carvery highly enough and the menu has a good range that others in our party enjoyed and the value for money there was far superior to many. Well Impressed. Good job

Came here specifically for a carvery - it was abysmal! Hands down the worst carvery I've ever had and it's not even cheap to compensate for the fact it's dreadful!
The turkey was tasteless for a start, the roasties were half burnt and the other half was undercooked, the mashed potato was lumpy and had started to harden in some places because it hadn't been covered so it had started to dry out in places. The Yorkshire pudding was massive but had a weird texture and last but not least the gravy was like water and didn't really taste of anything. I paid extra for pigs in blankets and they were SO salty they were nearly inedible and they were also about £2.50 for two tiddly little sausages.
The overall portion size was great but if it's food I wouldn't even feed the dog what's the point?
Excluding a bottle of coke it cost over £22 for one small carvery and one large with 2 pigs in blankets.
The cutlery was dumped in containers like they used to do at school and some of them had food still on them and most had water marks.
Extortionate. The local pubs do wonderful carveries much cheaper than this and WAY better.
The ONLY redeeming quality was the selection of cakes was good and they tasted great, but again they were overpriced. The cakes are obviously so much better because they aren't made on site. Don't waste your money or time eating here.

the food is very good. we had the carvery and friends had the afternoon tea. the biggest downside is it is very cold, not much heating on at all. you need to wear your thermals!!!!!!!!!

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Especially the team in the restaurant. Great service and will be back again. We had the tea for 2 and what a treat it was, they even offer a box to take home what you don't manage to eat.
