The restaurant is perfect I love it! Great service, food and the atmosphere, especially at the evening its very nice. I would recommend this plce for date with your loved ones or business meetings. Usually its quiet but some periods are very busy. Unfortunately the parking is mostly full even the restaurant is almost empty. Also there is very bad reception, so do not expect any calls when you dining inside. Overall its great food experience.

Within the grounds of @westonparkofficial lies the Granary @westonchefs. Open during the day and evening offering a seasonal menu that aims to use as much local produce as possible including the harvest from their own Weston walled garden. Loving their vision ‘from estate to plate’ we were excited to see what the winter menu had to offer.⭐️4/5Recommend??Price ??To start braised pork and celeriac tart. Sweet onion jam sat under the tart which was piled high with juicy pulled pork and topped with sliced celeriac. On our visit the celeriac topping lacked the charring you see on the advertised dish, nonetheless a pleasant start.Three crispy breaded Arancini filled with haddock and peas. This dish needed the curried mayo and tangy brown sauce as a little dry overall. The mains stepped it up a gear. Sea Bream was perfectly cooked, a generous portion laid proudly over charred Mediterranean vegetables, romesco style sauce and black olive tapenade for a touch of saltiness. This was our stand out dish and comes highly recommended.Venison presented two ways. Firstly well cooked loin served pink which was tasty but unfortunately very small. The accompanying venison pie was by contrast, plentiful served with kale, roasted carrots and a light sauce. A greater depth of flavour and body to the sauce may have slightly elevated this heart warming winter dish.A quiet, relaxed atmosphere and a good standard of food can be found at the granary just over the Shropshire border. Open for lunch and dinner serving a menu that changes with the seasons in an attractive rural setting. Thank you for the invite and a shout out to the restaurant manager for her great hospitality.#theshropshirefoodies

Thank you to The Granary for hosting our daughter's 21st birthday meal. The staff were so helpful from the booking through to when we left last night after the meal. The Snug is a perfect room for any celebratory meal and the atmosphere was fabulous. Thank you.

Fantastic food and service.

A lovely welcome, very polite & professional. There was a nice understated atmosphere as a few tables were taken & the menu was both varied & literally could’ve been designed for us. The choice was really tricky, so ordered crudities & red pepper dip while we had a think-very tasty.Super wine list & the Viognier we chose was delicious-The mains we had were beautifully cooked. I asked for a mix of two dishes & the chef agreed; my cod lion on chorizo risotto was amazing! Husband had the duck breast-beautifully cooked & we really enjoyed our meals. We couldn’t manage a dessert as too full. Although living locally we’re not biased as love our food & would most definitely recommend a visit.Martin & the team care - that’s what matters to diners.Oh & dropping in for a coffee mid morning on my dog walks is brilliant-they aren’t phased by huge dogs & the latte is really lovely!!!Vegetarian options: Gnocchi is fab!!Parking: Plenty of room

Popped in with my hysband to visit the art gallery this morning ; we then decided to get a quick coffee before leaving . It was 12 pm . Walked into the Granary and were met by a rather stern lady ( not sure waitress/ manager ? ) blond middle-aged who told us all tables were now set for lunch so couldn’t have coffee … we were a bit take aback as no other clients but us … So can we sit at one of the tables outside ? Yes you can what do you want ? Could we see the drinks menu ? We’ll there’s Americano, cappuccino etc … ( so no menu then !? Too much trouble !?) So we ordered and sat outside for 15 mn in the gloomy weather … coffees ok but so should they be at 4.50 a pop . Verdict : nice place , shame about the poor attitude of a staff member . My husband said it had been a long time since he had been made feel so unwelcomed anywhere and I have to agree.

Excellent service & beautiful food. We booked private dining in the Snug having dined in the main restaurant a few times before. Cannot fault the attentive service and exceptional food, all of our guests went home very satisfied & very full. Thank you!

Over priced £30+ for a £17 steak! Lacking quality and quantity. Even the burger was over priced and only came with smoked bacon, was told it had to come with smoked bacon no other way, so had a bowl of over rated over priced chips. Will not be returning.

Had the roast beef today and tbh it wasn’t great. Meat was overcooked and tough and not pink as advertised. We have had much better in pubs. Sorry but so

We had a lovely time today in the granary’s “snug” which we booked for afternoon tea for 14 people, for a baby shower. The food was lovely and plenty for everyone and being in the snug meant we had a bit of privacy for the fun and games of a baby shower. I was able to erect a balloon arch with welcome sign for mummy to be and personalise it all a little. Everyone enjoyed the event so many thanks
