An average Sunday lunch and same about the service for the price not blown away at all.

My boyfriend and I have dined here before and it was lovely- that’s why I came again- except I was greatly disappointed by the lack of overall care for the customers.We arrived early for our booking and it took about 10 minutes to be seated. We then sat for almost half an hour before anyone came to take our drinks order, which we asked for: a single gin and lemonade, a Peroni, and a jug of water. This then took about 20 minutes to arrive, the head of the beer was flat, the gin had no straw, and they missed the jug of water.Our food came quickly and was delicious although incredibly spicy with no prior indication. We therefore ordered a second round of drinks with emphasis on the water (due to the spice) and they came after a similar wait to the first round- also, with no water.By this point, me and my partner swapped dishes as it was disgustingly hot. My boyfriend, who is normally tolerant of spice, couldn't handle it either. We noticed the utter disregard for customers as not a single waitress had came over the entire meal (despite both me, and my boyfriend attempting to catch their eye). Eventually, someone came over and we ordered the water and it thankfully came promptly.We were pretty fed up after this experience so asked for the bill only to see they’d charged me an extra £5 for a double gin (which I didn’t ask for). This is incredibly worrying, as I had quickly drank it to cope with the spice and I wasn’t intending on drinking that much tonight. We then told the waitress who took it back to the till, only to return telling us: “you drank a double so you have to pay for it.” When she asked if we’d had a nice meal. We told her of our disappointing experience and her reply was worryingly nonchalant. So we paid and left asap.This experience was overall disappointing as it was a celebration of our anniversary and we wanted to treat each other. Sadly, we won’t return here again and we will have to find another place to receive nice meals, good service and correct drinks.

Wrong beer was brought, wrong food was brought as ordered the Gochujang chicken burger but was bought the Motherclucka chicken burger, service wasn’t fast and food did take a while on a quiet Monday night, chips could have been warmer, prices expensive, £23 for a burger and

Had 3 courses in this place, the Tempura Prawns, Steak and the crumble. All dishes were served in good time and were of good quality. The prawns dish was just the right size and the steak was just how I asked for it. The atmosphere, decor and lighting was relaxing and the staff were great. And all for the price of just £32, with 20% for January and February. I would really recommend visiting here, great restaurant.
Style over substance I would say! The pastry on my friend's steak pie was hard and the pastry on my vegan mushroom pie was like cardboard. Not good.

Soup came out cold, 1 Sunday dinner also cold. My beef was very dry & hard in places, looked like it had been left on the side for a good while. Add to that it wasn't served with gravy & obviously another meal sent back. Asked for jug of water which never received. Definitely the last time we

Really disappointing meal the other night when there was some kind of function whereby the restaurant had been split in two. However the children from this function or rather the parents seemed to think it was okay for them to run up and down the restaurant screaming. Service was extremely poor and slow yet the function had been served their food so there was no excuse. We could have put up with the service but the screaming children running riot just made us want to have our food and get out.
