Excellent food we went for a carvery which is only on a Sunday. Good value for money & the staff are very pleasant. Very enjoyable experience

The restaurant offered a cavery with a vegetarian option, I was given a token with vegetarian cavery written on it which I handed over and was told I couldn't eat the stuffing but everything else was fine only to then find out after I had started eating that the gravy was not vegetarian. When then asking why I wasn't told about the gravy they said there was a sign, which said gluten free gravy available and somehow from this I was also meant to know the gravy was not vegetarian. I then couldn't eat the food, I was offered a sorry but was still expected to pay for it. I left feeling sick, one of the staff even said to me how bad it was as they tell the staff but not the customers.

Not the most hygienic of experiences. Long black hair in the roast potatoes and the lady doing the carvery would use her phone with her carving gloves on, then continued to touch the meat. My dad said the mixed grill was the worst he's ever had, and he's not picky! Shame as its our local carvery.

A party of 10 of us called in on way back from a wedding rehearsal. Can’t fault the service or quality of food served. Meals were served quickly and all as ordered. Well done ? Would certainly go back.

6 of us visited today for a birthday celebration. Great service & friendly staff. Lovely pub with really good atmosphere Carvery was amazing, 4 choices of meat & great choice of vegetables which were all hot, fresh & really tasty. Reasonably priced at £11.99, will definitely be visiting again for carvery

Sadly I can’t review the food as we walked out! We were shown our table and just left to it! No menus were bought over, nobody told us where to go, what to do.. NOTHING! I expect more than this sorry

Had a meal here tonight in the garden, really lovely evening the food was amazing, came out extremely quick, was cooked perfectly, really nice quality and the price was great. Lovely staff too, a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.
Arrived here for Sunday carvery with family. Roast potatoes, spouts and yorkshire pudding tasted like they had been cooked from frozen. Spouts were hard and tasteless, the pork was dry. Wouldn't recommend The Summerhouse for the carvery.

I've always passed this pub but decided it was tine we gave it ago. Great location and I will say that the staff are really friendly and very helpful.We had a drink outside at the front as the sun was shining it was lovely and warm we decided to get a carvery for myself and my partner decided to have scampi and chips with salad. My carvery was fantastic and really tasty was very satisfied.My parnters scampi and chips with salad arrived very quick and looked well presented and a good amount there. We will definitely be returning with having telling family and friends to try it out.

First time visiting Summerhouse, myself and 5 friends had a Sunday carvery and it was absolutely beautiful! Great selection of vegetables, meat was delicious and good size portions given , just gutted I was so full and couldn’t finish it all. Will definitely return here,Thanks very much!

My daughter & her 2 friends all aged early 20'S have just had the most awful experience in your pub. They went in for a drink & for some reason were immediately discriminated against for no known reason. They were told they could have 1 drink then they would have to leave, throughout their short time there they were aware that they were being watched, talked about & made to feel very uncomfortable for no reason. The attitude of the man behind the bar was extremely hostile to 3 paying customers who had not been in any way a problem. Over the years we have been to eat at this place many times with family, including my daughter & have always had a good experience. Never again will we give them our custom. This was un called for & totally unacceptable.

Foods really nice here specially Sunday carvery. Only negative is the lady serving the meat is really tight only giving tiny portions. All other food items of menu our really big portions and well worth the money paid
