We just love Italian food and have eaten in many countries.we find food here to our liking ..where ever they are located ..They have relocated to high street .Vegetarian options: Most Italian food has lots of vegitrenian options any where .

Turned up after a long drive, a good hour before advertised closing time (online and on the wall of the actual restaurant) to be told sorry we've decided to close early. We were informed we could still order food and drinks but had 22 minutes to finish. Shutting earlier than widely advertised closong times for no good reason is unforgivable.

Just ordered food via just eat. Food was rotten. Imagine paying nearly £18 for a pizza that looks like that ? the dough bites came without the dip and most of them were plain... they were supposed to have cheese and nduja. I would have sent this back if i was in the restaurant.

The food was good, but service was rather all over the place. The restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday night but many of the waiters seemed new and were relying on one waiter for advice. The waitress we had had to ask her colleague questions about the food and seemed generally unsure about what we ordered which was unideal but fine. We weren’t able to use Tesco vouchers despite the fact they were for this chain restaurant and only bought them the same day as our visit and were told they can’t be used over the festive period however the waitress told us this had taken effect today which we weren’t told when booking at any stage and and had travelled a distance and frankly wouldn’t have come if we had known. the manager told us something completely different that this has been in a effect a while and that the waitress knew that which she didn’t which frankly showed they were disorganised. We even had to wait just for a takeaway box for a pizza which just added to the disappointment. I don’t think we will be back despite the tasty food due to the service we received. The manager was quite rude and while apologetic it felt like she was talking down to us.Dietary restrictions: We were asked about dietary requirements and we had none, except about the spice level of a meal.Parking: Limited parking and short walk from restaurant entrance

Popped in and had a great lunch. Food was yummy and staff were all nice and friendly. I can recommend the Christmas special carbonara - I really enjoyed it.

Personally I found ask Italian as an amazing experience, me and my family would more than happily come back here with no negative experiences. Everything was great, but my personal favourite would have to be the beef brisket parpadelli! Thank you for the lovely service :)

Had a lovely 50TH birthday meal lunch today. Staff were very welcoming and friendly food was excellent and the atmosphere again was excellent.
Had such a lovely time tonight! Food was insanely delicious, service was excellent and the atmosphere was cosy and professional. Such a lovely restaurant:)

Great experience at Ask Italian in Shrewsbury this weekend. Ramona seated us quickly and was fantastic with our two little kids, getting them settled with colouring pages and crayons. Great choice of options on the menu for everyone. The whole team were friendly and on hand throughout our visit. The food was fast and fantastic. Thumbs up from us!!

we pre booked and preordered a table at 16:00 for 11, turned up and had to wait 20 mins to be seated, followed by another 30 mins for a waiter to come and get our drinks order, when the starters came out at 17:15 they was adequate. the mains came out 45 mins after and half of our mains had pasta that was cold on the outside and scorching in the centre as if it been in the microwave for a few minutes. the one member of staff was rude, shouting and just snapping across at us as we was sat in silent listening to the orders being read out. come to pay the bill of £800 and a service charge of over £100 which for the service was non optional and unacceptable
