Staying at Oxon Hall Touring park and decided on our way back from a walk to the Grapes pub to pick up a take away. Now, having read some bad reviews, we decided to give it a go and judge for ourselves.Both my husband and I had a curry, he a special and me a Pork, with chips and egg fried rice. The food was delicious, fresh, hot and were large portions. The service was quick, very pleasant and friendly. The take away property clean. I would highly recommend buying here.We will definitely call again. Keep up the good work Blue Jade ?

We are staying at Oxon caravan site a ten minute walk to the Blue Jade .when I arrived to be met by a nice member of the team . Meal arrived in 15 mins walked back to site could not believe the Meal was piping hot.also the size of each dish was humongous l can honestly say it was one of the best Chinese meals we have had.well done to all the staff. Very bland food. My husband had Szechuan chicken which should be hit and spicy but it was tasteless. My chicken and bean sprouts was as bad. The egg fried rice was also not how it should be, it was just yellow coloured rice! Not good.

I recently had a take away and found the food to be ok, but lacking in taste! Chicken was a little rubbery! Didn’t taste like breast chicken, more like processed chicken!This place was the go to Chinese before Covid. But now it’s seems to be going for cheaper ingredients and a lot higher prices!

We were staying at campsite around the corner from here and decided on a takeaway one night, very popular Chinese takeaway going by the people waiting and orders being phoned in while I was waiting. The food was fairly decent for what we got, it’s always going to be different from our usual Chinese takeaway in our home town. The only downside was the tub of satay sauce, felt it could have been a bit more thicker. Would use again if staying at campsite.
