Once again a delicious meal, this time got to dine in to celebrate a birthday. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and beautiful food. Lovely lamb dish and Beef Stifado fondly reminds us of holidaying on the Islands, enjoyed the greek wines and the yummy baklava of course! Love what you do here!

Place was absolutely buzzing on a Friday night. Not a spare seat anywhere, so pre booked is the only way to go. Service from the young servers was very attentive, and they kept things moving perfectly. Food was absolutely delicious, as you would hope for in a Home cooked place. Do yourself a favour, book a table and get down to see what the buzz is all about! Menu is decided each day (except Gyros day on a Wednesday!) So always something different to try. Definitely recommended!! 5*.

A little piece of Greece in Shrewsbury. AMAZING food & vibes. Love the little blackboard menus as the food is made fresh. & always as specials. It was fun chatting to other people dining about what they had & we had or were going for as we all had different boards dotted around.We will definitely be back.(Parking on road or opposite)I had the chicken gyros & my partner had the beef which was like a stew.I’m already craving another it was so good!We will pop out for takeaway one Wednesday evening for sure.I’m yet to try the lush looking baklava!It looks like it would be a gorgeous place to visit one summer evening too in the garden.

We went here last night for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed everything.The food is fabulous and lots of it,the background music was Greek and the table settings were just like we experience every year when we go to Kardamena in Kos.Don’t expect a lot of choice or starters or sweets…..that threw us a bit but the main course is plenty ….I even brought home a “doggy bag” The owner and the waitress were lovely too.We shall be back.

Chanced upon them through Facebook and has that Taverna feel.Dishes are (for this time of year) all specials, so while you don't know quite what you might be sitting down to, the choices are excellent, fresh, and full of flavour. Sitting in the front part of the restaurant allows you to watch the kitchen in full flow, which is a treat.Cretan Wines and Greek beer just added to the experience. One to recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Front of restaurant accessible. (The area I sat in)

Great food. Love Giros on a Wednesday. Only problem is they say open until 8 but they rarely are. I always get to them about 7:30/45 after getting the kids to bed and they're closed more often than open. It would help if they updated their FB page or answered the phone.
Been meaning to try Exo Poli for ages and took the plunge last night-it was lovely! The food was very tasty and took me back to Greece as much as is possible on a January night in the UK! The ambience is very cosy and we look forward to returning in the summer to sit outside.

I was looking forward to trying Exo Poli but was massively disappointed. I was put on an ice cold wooden chair, asked for a G&T to be told at 7pm they had no ice by the waitress who didn’t even apologise (on a Sat night where you can buy ice from shops?!) then the food arrived & it was lukewarm/cold & far too much that it was actually overwhelming. I was alarmed at how much we all left which was such a waste because the portions were just so big. My friend asked for a large glass of wine & she got a small glass so asked why & to be told they didn’t have enough of the wine to make it a large one?! It was all just like a scene out of Faulty Towers but what upset me most was the tiled floor was so slippy I nearly slipped & broke my ankle & the kitchen looked uncleaned with an oven/hob thick of grease. I don’t ever write reviews but I had to because I am so surprised with all the raving reviews of this restaurant! I would have spoke to the owner but a friend warned me not to because he gets cross if you complain!!!!
