We travelled 40 miles to try this place. Liked the quirky restaurant. We sat in the 'cell's' area, which was freezing. However, the food was really good and we had a lovely girl which served us. Would definitely recommend for the food.

Very lively pub, really full but a great atmosphere. The only thing that let it down was slow service at the bar. The bar staff were busy all night, but there just wasn't enough of them.

I cannot fault this place. Food was absolutely divine. Wine superb and the intimacy of the booths for a date night, second to none. Can’t wait to return. Top job Henry Tudor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was excellent made with locally sourced ingredients and generous portions too. There was a great choice of food and drinks and the drinks were well made, in this case liqueur coffees. The decor is really well designed and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent customer service. We will definitely come back for another meal.

I recently visited the Henry Tudor House and it was a delightful experience. The historical ambiance added a unique charm to the place, transporting me back in time. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The menu offered a variety of delectable dishes, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the local steak that did not need.a sharp knife to cut it Overall, the Henry Tudor House Bar is a must-visit for history enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

We were looking forward to the meal but when we sat down we were next to a table of 6 who were loud, drunk and swearing. We complained to the staff who had a word with them. They then turned to us and aggressively said we should not have reported them but ask them directly. The rest of the evening we got stares and comments culminating in one guy slapping one of our guests and swearing in our faces. Terrible experience. The young lady waiter did her best but there was no male staff of security called to ease the situation as it could have turned really nasty

Very tasty food and friendly efficient staff. There were 11 of us and we had pre ordered, but excellent service and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic food and outstanding service. We went for the Sunday lunch and I would fully recommend. The seating was amazing and we had a 4 person booth. Give it a go you will not be disappointed

Came her for lunch and had a great meal. The scotch egg starter was very tasty and a good size portion. The main I went for the pork and it was cooked to perfection. Very tasty, full of flavour and it wasn't too chewy. The service from the staff was excellent and the place is very well kept. Highly recommended to come for the food you won't be disappointed.

Food was amazing the time in between meals were spot-on but the service was pretty appalling long waits between getting drinks and waiting for the bill This would not affect me returning as I would very much go back here
