Called in here with my partner for a light tea as neither of us was mega hungry but we heard good things about the food! We just ordered 4 popadoms, a starter each and a drink each When we finished the waiter then came over asking what we would like as a main! We politely said we didn't want a main and that we were happy with just the poppadoms and starter and drink! His response shocked me!! He said in future we must have a main! This then started a 5 min very awkward confrontation as I explained if we don't want a main then we don't have to! And that I'd never come across that attitude in my life! The place was actually dead so it's not like we were losing them money! Shame as the nargis kebab was probably the best I've had! I even pointed that out to the rude waiter as I was leaving Guys Id love you to explain to me why you feel you can tell people they must have a main You made my partner feel very awkward by the way so thanks for that!!

Absolutely stunning meal tonight - the chicken Desi is the best curry I have ever tasted ! Keep the good work up lads ! My wife had a Dhansak which was equally as good.

The food was very nice but small portions. Glad we had stater and extras or would have left a bit hungry which would be a first for any Indian restaurant we've visited worldwide.

Absolutely brilliant! Staff are friendly and welcoming! The service is excellent and the food is great. Prices are reasonable as the food is so worth it. ?Parking: Plenty of space and would never struggle to find a space!

Very pleasant restaurant to come and eat out. Although it seems more popular with people picking up takeaway food. We must have come on a quiet night as it was just us and two more couples. The food was of a very high standard and served by two very friendly staff. More non-alcoholic drinks would have been great.Parking: Loads of availabilityWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor. No stairs. Easy to get in through the doors.

We've been coming here for years. Never had a problem with the food as such. We stopped having takeaway from them as the portion sizes were so small it wasn't worth the price. So we ate in more often as we didn't mind the extra price for table service. But sadly they've changed the bowls which they serve the currys in. They used to be decent sized oval shaped dishes with a good amount of curry in, but this time they changed them to much smaller almost cauldron shaped bowls, they are tiny. Hardly any curry in them, I think I had about 4 pieces of chicken in my tikka mossalla which I paid £10 for. Once my rice and curry was on my plate there was hardly anything there. We actually came away hungry for the first time. I'm guessing they're trying to save money - but with times as they are financially I don't think folk will feel its value for money and will go elsewhere. Such a shame

Dissaponting. We ordered the tandoori fish, butter chicken and pilau rice. The portions were ridiculously small. The butter chicken consisted of   small strips of chicken and an abundance of onions. The pilau rice was on a very small plate that amounted to a few spoonfuls.  The tandoori fish consisted of 6 extremely small pieces of fish and an abundance of onions. We paid £35 for this minuscule meal. We left feeling hungry.

We had a lovely meal here whilst staying locally on holiday. My wife had the butter chicken and loved it. Good sized portions, good quality food.
