Very friendly team and decent food, which was well priced. The pub is dog friendly and has some limited parking. The ambience where we were sat wasn’t great though and felt a bit shoehorned in!

Two beef, Two turkey, super bar service today. Girl worked her socks off. Nice atmosphere in general...... Turkey was great, but both our beef eaters said it was tough to eat and chew which de marked the food stars sorry. Above all not bad at all.

Staff very friendly, pub and locals great. Food spot on, great place to stay. Rooms are ideal, nothing to complain about?

I asked for a rare steak… a simple request one may think. WRONG. Twas awful. A man served me, said he was the owner. Not a nice man in the slightest. Wouldn’t recommend

Very poor service. Not very clean room. A shadow of its former self. From being very good the last time we had stayed.

Excellent value. Just a one night stopover. Was greeted on arrival by Simon, excellent personable manner and fuss free book in process. Single room up one flight of stairs, very compact, but had everything you need for an overnight stop. Bed very comfortable and had a good night's sleep ( No wardrobe or storage and the bath is in the eaves making it difficult to stand up fully in the shower. I sat in the bath and used the Flexi shower...no probs) . Arrived early so had a meal whilst I waited, .. a burger and chips and a pint of Rev Jack's. Both were reasonably priced and very tasty. Booked breakfast at £6.25 for a full English , with tea and toast. This was freshly cooked the next morning by Angie, who was very helpful and amicable . Breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful I'm stopping again , that's how impressed I was .
