I stayed for a motorhome stopover,The staff were all friendly and welcoming,Good selection of drinks, and food was nice.There was some traffic noise but it didn't spoil mystayHappy Customer will stop there again

Not a great experience at the Red barn. We booked for our 21st wedding anniversary, we were kept waiting at the bar while the bar staff was checking her phone, when we asked about starters we were told 'yes it's mozeralla sticks and stuff' we ordered starters that we found on the website as there was no Sunday lunch menu on the tableWe were shown to a table with a hole in the seat which wasn't acceptable . When our food came it was very good. You couldn't fault the food. Its the customer service that was very unacceptable. I work in customer service and do mystery shops. If I was on a mystery shop these would be getting a bad report and I won't be returning for a while.

Beautiful pub! Staff are lovely and accommodating. Food is gorgeous! Definitely reccomend the Piri Piri Burger. Chips are PERFECTION. Will definitely go again.

Came in for funeral tea, pub had put on a spread - ended up with food poisoning (along with 95% of the other guests). Disappointing.Edit after owners reply:Wow. Just wow. As if a funeral wasn’t hard enough to deal with, now being completely gaslit. 95% of funeral party all getting sick within 24-48hrs of visiting is not a coincidence - especially as we’re all from different regions of the U.K.Disgraceful reply. Show some sympathy.

My wife and I had Christmas Dinner at the Red barn and it was excellent the atmosphere and hospitality was second to none nothing was too much trouble and the service was fantastic the food arrived very quickly and was piping hot and the amount of time between courses was perfect timed i would like to thank all the staff for their help and their welcoming manner. We will definitely be returning again and again. They also allow you to take your dogs in which is great news for us as we sometimes find it hard to find places that will allow you to take your beloved pet in.

Interesting set up at this pub a mile or so outside of centre of Shrewsbury. Couple of ales on and a cheap cocktails. Friendly pool team in bar area. Has pool table and darts but no darts when I went. Allows stop overs if eating /drinking in pub. Ps get some darts! ? ? ? ? ? ?Parking: Allows stop overs but phone ahead as space limited and obviously eat/drink in pub
