We had two absolutely fabulous meals here today,I would describe both as perfection. I am a very fussy person & do not often leave reviews but the RED LION deserve a review.From entering the pub to leaving,the service at every level was great.This is the third time I have visited & it most certainly will not be the last.Parking: Parking very easy

This place is not worthy of one star. We went as a group of four for dinner tonight, I ordered Caesar salad which arrived on a piping hot plate with no Caesar dressing, I sent it back, it was rectified and i received my Caesar dressing half way through my meal (1 teaspoon full),my sister ordered Cajun salmon with rice, this arrived with no Cajun seasoning and chips instead of rice, two meals came to the table that should have been sizzling, no sizzles. When I spoke to the assistant manager she saw no reason to reduce the price of the meal, cut a long story short we refused to pay for two of the meals but assistant manager was very unhappy with me and told us never to come back. I will never return to this awful place

Worst steak I’ve ever had!!Came here with my daughter. I had steak. When it came it was small. It was overdone, so fatty and chewy. After the third bite of trying to eat it I gave up. It was inedible.The side of onion rings were over cooked batter with hardly any onion in them. Again gave up trying to eat those too.Thank fully the chips were nice as most of my food was so disappointing.There’s £50 I’ll never see again.
Large group for a birthday. Efficient and friendly service, no issues with the food at all, promptly delivered and well presented.

Food quality, quantity, taste and presentation has always been fantastic when we've visited.Staff, both bar, kitchen and waiting on are friendly, attentive and always happy to check everything is OK no matter how busy.
