This is the best Thai food I've eaten, you could tell that everything was fresh, staff were lovely very attentive. The restaurant was really clean I was surprised to see the previous reviews! Mixed starter was so nice it's great you get to try everything.

Had an early evening meal here. Great location by the river although it was too cold to sit outside. Not a particularly extensive menu but old favourites available like red and green curry. Staff were really pleasant. Food service was very quick so if you want a rest between courses best shout up.....Parking: Frankwell car park, which is free after 6pm, was a short walk, crossing the river by easily accessible foot bridge.....No parking g at restaurant......

My review is the total opposite to some previous. We were welcomed and served well, the menu was varied and our food fabulous. Decent price and are outside by the river. Highly recommended

Friendly welcome and a table by the river. Mojitos were very good. Would return and try the food next time.

Lovely starter’s and mains - absolutely divine. Have been here a few times with friends so decided to take my partner who though it was really good. We went on a chilled sunny sunday.

Was mega overpriced, not enough staff on the bars. outside the area was dirty, and glasses weren't collected, so no tables were cleared to sit at,toilet area was disgusting outside, and there was no lighting, and the inside wasn't really much better. Judging by the comments, the manager is leaving on reviews here, i dont think I'd return from the pure attitude of the management

First round of 4 drinks £26, second round of drinks £44.20 approached the manager a couple of days later as at the time the electric went down while buying at the cabin and people pushed in front of me. Manager proceeded to tell me I had bought drinks for my group that we don't drink, no negotiation he said that is what we had. They had an event on that night, with 4 toilets, ones round the back had poor lighting, more could be said about that area. Many people spoke about the high prices of the drinks, surprisingly no one eating either, cost again a factor? Safe to say I will not go here again. Not many positive reviews on here at all, maybe need a rethink of prices and attitude

If only we would of took pictures.....it started off unusual when we were being made to pay for the whole meal before we even had it. I have never been asked to pay for a meal before you have eaten it?! Had the Thai me up cocktail to me told by the waiter it had fresh mint in it....we pulled out black rotted mint leaves and to go with that 8 black ants!!!!!!! The dumplings were 3 little tiny things with mincemeat?! And the salad on the starter plates was most definitely off! The curry was so sweet?! And for £18 it was meat shavings...we did inform what we thought...Will never return, left feeling hungry and a belly full of ants

11 of us went to the River Thai on a Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. We had booked in advance and were asked to pay a £5 per person deposit which was fine. We were hoping to sit outside and enjoy the view of the river but the English weather had other ideas! Once we'd all arrived we were seated inside at a long table that had plenty of room. Starters arrived in no time and were delicious, especially the mixed plater for 2? The mains if anything were even better, delicious selection of curries and stir fries, we had a few vegans and vegetarians in the group who said their meals were superb. Drinks were a reasonable price and the service was excellent . Overall there were 11 very happy customers with no complaints at all, will definitely be back ?

A great place to hear awful loud music, hardly any food on offer and I wonder do you have a PRS licence? I would also suggest the tone of your answers to other reviews leaves a lot to be desired. The customer is always right after all.

Just had an excellent evening here! Ate out on the balcony where there was a lovely river view. Great cocktails and great vegan-friendly options, and very friendly service. Really recommend the vegetarian spring rolls and vegetarian dumplings and the various tofu options.

What a gem of a place. Sat outside in the sun at the side of the river with a good cold bottle of wine, lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were welcomed and shown to a table by a very friendly member of staff. The menu wasn't extensive but the food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced except for the prawn thai crackers which are often served complimentary. We had a lovely evening, would recommend and definitely return if in the area again.
