Good food let down by terrible service and atmosphere.Upon entering we had staff telling us we couldn't sit down on empty and unclaimed tables. We then finally got a tiny table and started ordering from the tiny menu behind the counter... Because putting menus on the tables is so difficult. Staff again were incredible rude. We finally got our Luke warm coffee but they had half the chocolate sprinkles dumped on the tray opposed to on the coffee itself. We then had to wait ages for our food. We even got told it'll only be 3 more minutes by a server... Only for it to take 10. Multiple members of staff on their phones and not cleaning tables etc. at least have a break when there is nothing to do.

Big cooked breakfast. Good portion size, fried eggs cooked well. Unfortunately the toast, beans, egg, sausage, bacon and Black pudding all room temperature. Hash browns were piping hot.

Every single visit is fantastic, such a friendly helpful bunch of staff cheerful and playful with staff and customers, they are a credit to the cafe manager Tina, but she is one of the best manager's I,ve ever met, I work for a rival company but when I receive excellent customer service, I think it should be recognised, the cafe in this store is the reason we shop here so often, makes us feel like we really matter, I have never been into a restaurant and received as good a standard of service. The food is always lovely in presentation, piping hot and delicious, never had a bad meal here ever, looking forward to our next visit ?Dietary restrictions: Soya flat white .Parking: Very large parking area. Lots of cild friendly and disabled spaces.

Just wanted to say how lovely the Tesco staff in the cafe are at Shrewsbury. The food is great too - lots of choice for adults and kids of all ages. The other day my baby was crying and I went in the cafe to sit down and feed him. The staff member who served me was as quick as possible and offered me water whilst I waited for my order, said for me to sit down and brought over my items when they were ready.Thank you so much to the cafe staff for making me feel welcome xxDietary restrictions: Helpful and informative about allergensKid-friendliness: Lovely staff, good kids food options, highchairs and good sized tables for families

What a great place to go, repeatedly fantastic. Wonderful staff, excellent service, clean, tasty and well presented food which is always piping hot. We are regular visitors and absolutely love it. We would struggle to find somewhere else like this in the vicinity. Lovely fresh ground coffee - a place where you can actually get fresh pouring cream as an option with your coffee, fancy that... just how it should be (and always used to be). Somewhere you can get black pudding as an option on your full English.Fantastic indeed. You used to be able to get black pudding and cream with your coffee at the cafe in Sainsbury's Telford, but there isn't even a cafe there now. Sainsbury's Meole Brace had a Starbucks, this is now an Argos and they dont sell coffee or breakfast.Love the cafe in Tesco Shrewsbury. Huge thanks and top marks!PS I have read some of the negative reviews on here and I have to question if this is the cafe they went to. We have visited this cafe practically every week for the last four years (we missed it greatly during lockdown), we have NEVER received poor service or poor food. Good honest food and service which we cannot fault in any way. :-)Parking: Loads of parking.

Fresh cooked, honest and reasonably priced food in a light and airy cafe.Brilliant summer holiday offer of kids eating free as well.

Wasted 55 minutes of my and my kids life and didn’t even serve us food and when we complained tried to short change us on the refund didn’t offer us free food for wasting our time and didn’t even offer an apologise. Then got stuck in a 18 minutes traffic jam trying to leave the car park. I am absolutely shocked at this service’s a will never shop at Tesco or eat at there cafes. I am that shocked.

3 breakfasts around £21......Has got to be the worst breakfast i have ever eaten. It should be fresh to be put on my plate. Sausage and bacon rock hard. everything else microwaved hot on the plate, even the egg with a hard yoke. Mother-in-law left most of hers...Manageress anti social and abrupt. Should not be in the service industry.....A full English is the easiest meal to get right. Not at Shrewsbury Tesco...Never again.

First of all I have no idea what I was thinking when I ordered this… a little bit shamefaced to be honest. Never heard of it and read out loud “Fish Finger Wrap” to which the waitress asked do you want fries or salad with that. Taken aback I chose chips and thought I would just go with the flow. I’m not in the least bit surprised it was really as bad and bizarre as it sounded. Looked reasonable enough when it arrived with chips and salad (?) Looked inside and that’s when it turned pear shaped. They had used the cheapest thinnest fish fingers on the planet. Get any images of thick white cod fingers out of your head immediately. It was ridiculous. A ridiculous combination and incredibly disappointing. Please take it off the menu or upgrade the Fish Fingers.
