Our recent visit to BEVANS Neighbourhood Kitchen and Bar was nothing short of amazing. We opted to sit in the rear garden in one of the pods, and it was a picturesque setting, adorned with beautiful lights and perfectly warmed by the infrared heater. This spot is especially convenient if you're planning to visit the Severn Theatre. What impressed us further was their attentiveness to showtimes; if you're heading to a performance, just let them know, and they'll ensure you're finished in time. The food itself was great, offering excellent value for money. Overall, our experience at BEVANS was delightful, and we highly recommend it, especially for a charming pre-theatre meal.

We were fans of the Olive Tree and we are even bigger fans of its new image as Bevans.Stopped off for a quick bit of lunch and were only planning on having a main, however the starters were so intriguing we had to go for them too.Food was all terrific, the pie was absolutely top notch. Honestly couldn't fault it, even the mushy peas were old school, soaked overnight type that you just don't see any more.We stopped off a second time for a few pints, parked up in the window to watch the world go by. We didn't eat on the second occasion but did nose at what others were having. Some brilliant smells, golden brown pies, crispy looking fish and chips etcReally looking forward to my next visit

Superb meal, really great service and the food was absolutely delicious. We called in by chance and were lucky to get a table, definitely recommend booking! Short walk from the Frankwell car park and Shrewsbury Town Centre.

Obsessed with this place, it’s currently my favourite place to eat in Shrewsbury, especially in the summer in the courtyard - it feels like you’re in Spain!Their hummus & patatas bravas are both amazing and a must to get every time. I would also recommend their meatballs and broccoli (if they have it as they change their veg options on the menu weekly). Average selection of drinks, the sangria is ok but not strong enough for my liking ?A must to visit if in Shrewsbury and you like tapas! Definitely need to book in advance.

Looks pretty, tastes poor.. Burnt Bruschetta, some bits swimming in vinegar/oil, meats, dry and tasteless. Really didn’t like this place. ‘Give us your money’ type place. Spend your £70 somewhere else in Shrewsbury..! Keep looking.. ?

What a lovely experience, secluded yet open courtyard , menu looks very nice and the food delivered to diner's looked inviting. Staff and management warm and welcoming. Table booking advisable during those peak hours

The Olive Tree was a great restaurant, lovely, tasty & authentic Tapas & Pizza, staff were all fantastic & offered a great service. We sat in the courtyard garden as it was a warm evening & it's just lovely outside & they have heaters if it's a bit chilly! Would definitely recommend & visit again when in Shrewsbury, such a great place.

We sit at the backyard, which is nice and cosy. Service is very good by our waitress (the blond girl). The food otherwise, is not good. Sorry to say. The croquette is the worst. Tempura fish is not good neither. So greasy. Whitebait is not good, not crispy, sooo soft.Mozarella ball...just not go with that weird dressing.Really need to improve the food.

Beautiful sheltered garden, with covered areas so perfect for outside dining in our unpredictable summers. Tapas small plates are generous and delicious (6 easily fed 3 of us). A wide range of drinks including Sangria, cocktails and beer. A great dining experience with friendly, attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Come as part of a hen party for afternoon drinks, told off for inappropriate behaviour which wasn’t the case, accused of “Flashing” when actually as part of a game was demonstrating a fly. Not sure how this is flashing. Found the staff extremely rude and unprofessional. People on other tables were not in any way annoyed by our hen party. Also was not provided with enough seating. When we got a chair from another table was told off for doing so. It was evident that staff were reluctant to serve us as one person waited over 30 minutes for a drink to arrive with no apologies. Wouldn’t return or recommend as this was suppose to be a celebration which completely ruined the drinks and experience. If they don’t want people having afternoon drinks and just want a fine dining restaurant don’t accept a hen party. Was made to feel extremely out of place and looked down upon.

Fantastic food! We had tuna, calamari, patatas bravas, red mullet, and the beetroot falafel which was gorgeous. Puddings were equally lovely with really fresh churros and a beautiful lemon curd mousse special. Friendly staff and lovely staff. Highly recommend a visit!

FANTASTIC FOOD! I’ve eaten here on many occasions and left a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review several years ago. I thought it was about time to leave another. The courtyard area at the rear of the restaurant is beautiful and been updated since my last visit. Service was great and all the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
