Incredible service and the best plate of pasta I have ever eaten. My husband had a pizza and the dough was so incredibly light and flavoursome. Highly highly recommend. I need to come back and sample more dishes.

Their Tiramisu is like a dream on a spoon, no wonder it was the best in town. And let's talk about their pasta—it's like a big warm hug in a palte, with sauces that'll make your taste buds dance. Starters are off-the-charts delicious, from fresh bruschetta Al Pomodoro to crisp Calamari Fritti that hit the spot. It's like they've bottled up Italy and brought it straight to your table, and that is why they are truly a family-run Italian restaurant. If you're into good food and good times, this place is an absolute winner. Trust me, you won't leave Antica in Bath disappointed!

We went to this restaurant because we wanted some good Italian food and the reviews were very good. We are also vegetarian and vegan. We had good options. The service was good. We sat near the window and the atmosphere was also very good. Then came the food. The bruschetta had just warm bread with large pieces of tomatoes on it. No oil or tasty dressing. Just warm bread and tomatoes. Pizza had too much cheese when we asked for less cheese. The pasta was so overcooked. We had to give the pizza back. And the second one came with less cheese but so undercooked. Felt like we were eating fresh dough. So if you want authentic Italian food I would skip this restaurant.Sorry for the bad review. But it is a true review from our experience.

Atmosphere was pleasant and service was very friendly but the food was not good enough. The food was unfulfilling and the quality was poor. The chef lets this place down as otherwise it would have been better.

My very first impression of Antica was unfortunately a bit disappointing. My wife and I had booked a table for lunch at 2pm on Saturday afternoon and on entering the premises despite two members of staff walking past us whilst we were clearly standing there waiting to be seated, neither bothered to acknowledge our presence. Now I appreciate and accept that they may have been busy with other customers, but a quick greeting, a smile and a "I'll be right with you" really doesn't require very much effort and it goes a long way in making customers feel welcome! The service improved once we were seated and that's where it all got much better.Firstly, I applaud any restaurant that serves wine by the 50cl carafe and not only does Antica do that, but there's a few wines to choose from! My wife and I went for the Chardonnay and it did not disappoint. For starters, we both chose the Salmone Affumicato that was both very nice and a decent sized portion was served. For mains I had the Pollo Antica and my wife had the Petto d’anatra. Both dishes were very tasty, nicely presented and good portions. To finish off, we had a Homemade Tiramisu and a Torta Mandorle e Cioccolato from the dessert menu. Again, both were delicious and came in decent size portions.Fortunately the food and the service after we were seated made up for the questionable first impressions, so I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Antica as a nice place to eat and would definitely return.

Just popped in without a booking. A good welcome and food to match. Not from Bath so unlikely to be a regular but would happily go again and recommend to

What a fantastic place to eat, cosy and the most delicious food. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: All their pasta is available gluten free

Very nice little restaurant with friendly staff. Reasonably priced.Food wise, I’ve found that it’s better for pasta than pizza. The chicken and mushroom pizza was a little bland and not the best. However, the pasta absolutely to die for! Incredible flavour and very enjoyable. My favourite place to get pasta, but not so much for pizza. Also have an 11% service charge, so keep that in mind.Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian options.

This was ok. Food was average nothing special. Not the cheapest for 2 bowls of pasta and a garlic bread. Meatballs weren't very warm tbh and it was quite salty. Tagliatelle was just average. Garlic bread wasn't very garlicky either and slightly burnt. A bottle of water was £4.50 not all robbers wear masks it seems. 1 glass of lemonade and a bottle of perroni came to £61.00 Wouldn't go again.

Read the reviews sounded great. Booked a table for 8 of us. It stated they have live jazz music on a Tuesday and Thursday, there was nothing. It took the staff a good 15 to 20 minutes to offer to get us some drinks. The place was virtually empty. The food was extremely over seasoned. They put on a 11% surcharge but don't tell you but are more than happy to take your tip and pocket it.I for one will recommend going to another of baths Italian restaurants and avoid this place.
