Excellent environment, views, seafood, and end-to-end experience. If quality-price is critical that is the place!.

Following a couple of poor visits to Aqua (which is one of my favourite restaurants), I was wondering whether to try it again. However, I took some family from Africa whilst they were visiting and it was fab. My family were very impressed (as were we) with the service and called the food exceptional. We all had lovely dishes- the food at aqua is always lovely and this was the case as usual. Everything was cooked to perfection for the main courses and my mind has thankfully been changed and I will absolutely be back to one of my favourite Bath restaurants. One thing I would say is the brownie could be much gooier and moreish- it was more cake like when I tried it this time

Excellent experience this afternoon, the food and customer service was exemplary. Prices are not too steep and will return here again one day.

I did not find the ambiance like its Italian, or maybe i am not just into it, and i myself just love pasta so we are looking for an Italian restaurant for that, but the pasta menu was quite few to choose, unfortunately i had what I really don’t like.. an avocado carbonara stuff.. its my fault i just thought the avocado will be just sliced and put it as a toppings but it was really the flavour of the pasta..my husband had his pizza and he likes it. but stuffs are nice..

Very large portions of very tasty food. It may have been a quiet Sunday night, but the staff were affable and welcoming, and created a good atmosphere for us. I'd come back again.

We had a family meal for a special occasion. What a lovely find this restaurant is! I had the scallops ? The Lamb and passion fruit cheesecake, everything was phenomenal, cooked to perfection. The service was lovely, staff were friendly helpful, respectful and clearly very happy at work! ?

Had lunch here today. We had excellent service . The set menu for lunch was very good value and was delicious ! Last time we visited ( on a Saturday) it put us off as it was full of hen parties , however today (Friday) was fairly quiet I’m pleased to say. A lovely relaxed lunch in pleasant surroundings .

Well slightly disappointed. Nothing was terrible but for the price a bit underwhelming. Calamari- a bit chewy; scallops a bit too seared/burnt. Meatballs good. Mains- burger and steak both a bit overdone. Sea bass quite nice but the courgette was like 1970’s prawn balls- ie tonnes of batter surrounding the slithers of courgette. Sickly. Also I had a ‘courgette fritter’ that was a calamari piece ! The room and the style was lovely Staff were nice but I don’t think the price was reflects in the food.

Visited with family. Had starters, steaks, fish, burgers and lamb dishes. Really well cooked and enjoyed by all. Friendly attentive service. Would definitely return.

Food was lovely and atmosphere buzzing. The service was shocking - no welcome, waitress seemed surprised we had arrived (table was booked) and the just pointed towards our table. We waited 15 mins before another waiter came near us, we had to ask for menus and if we could order drinks. The waiter looked very stressed and very uninterested. I ordered a steak and they had run out, waiter came back to tell me but didn’t bring a menu for me to look at to re order. It then took me another 15 mins for the waiter to return to take my replacement order. When we finished our main course, our waiter half cleared the table. He did not ask us if we wanted to order desert. After 30 minutes we asked for the bill and left. It was really disappointing service.

Saturday brunch with delicious coffee and great food in an old converted church which is a lovely setting. Recommended.

We had a lovely evening here, 4 adults and 2 children having a belated birthday celebration. The service was brilliant, one person in our group has a medical condition with complex dietary requirements which makes eating out very difficult, but Curtis was incredibly attentive and helpful, in fact all of the staff were brilliant. We'll definitely be visiting again!

I went to Aqua this week for a friend's leaving do. I had pre-ordered and advised the restaurant of my red berry allergy. On arrival, the manager spoke to me and explained that the chef was almost sure that the marinade for the chicken did not have any red berries, but couldn't be 100% sure. I have eaten at Aqua before and had no problem with the chicken, so I said this would be fine. When my meal came, there was a huge spoonful of slaw next to my chicken, which had cranberries mixed in with it! Not small pieces, but whole cranberries. I didn't want to make a fuss, as it was a special evening for my friend, so I did my best just to avoid the slaw and just eat my chicken and chips (which were delicious), but I have now come out in a few hives around my mouth, indicating that there must have been some contact with a berry somewhere :-( It's not a life-threatening allergy, but it's obviously not great - especially when the restaurant was advised in advance. As I said, however, the actual food was delicious and the portion size was very generous. There's also a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. However, my Aperol Spritz was undoubtedly the worst I have ever had (and I have had a lot!). There was barely any Aperol in it - it was very pale, and was mainly just ice and soda. It definitely wasn't worth £7 as part of the 2 for £14 "offer". I also had to leave most of my pudding, as it was far too sickly. It was a chocolate delice. I am a confirmed chocoholic and always order chocolate puddings, but this was horribly rich and not at all pleasant, which was such a shame, as I was really looking forward to it.
