Enjoyed a fabulous Christmas break, the staff were excellent- attentive, cheerful and well trained. The accommodation was comfortable and little extras made the difference. Food was superb and the service was impeccable. Whilst being near to Bath the location was relaxing with country walks nearby. Will certainly return and visit other hotels in the group.

Just had a wonderful stay at the Bailbrook House hotel as we were headed to Bath Christmas market. Staff were absolutely amazing and the hotel is simply stunning. Stayed in one of the rooms in the main house and it was literally jaw dropping. Location is also perfect for a trip into Bath. A huge thank you to the staff for making our stay so memorable.

Today we visited Bainsbrook house hotel for Sunday lunch. When booking I mentioned that it was my fathers birthday. We were served the most delicious meal by wonderful and thoughtful staff, that made a loverly fuss of the birthday boy and presented him with a ‘birthday pudding’. We then met other members of the family and were made very comfortable in the luxurious lounge bar for the rest of the afternoon. I cannot recommend this hotel for its food, staff, and everything else highly enough…. We will definitely be returning….. Thankyou to all the staff at Bainsbrook for making the day such a memorable one for my 83 year old father….Anne CALE

My In-laws stayed here to celebrate their 35th Wedding anniversary and were absolutely in love with the place. They stayed in the John Eveleigh room and said it was fantastic, looked exactly like the images on the website. Before arrival the staff called them to ask if they could give them a gift for their anniversary, they left wine, Champagne (on Ice), chocolate truffles, cookies and a bowl of fruit in the room which my in laws loved. My MIL especially loved the roll top bath!! They had a turn down service as well. They ate in the dining room and they took allergies VERY seriously, MIL is allergic to shell fish, ordered the Cod and the chef went to serve it in the shell fish sauce, the waitresses noticed this and took it back to the chef and had him redo it with Zero shell fish, this did mean FIL food was a bit cold however they were happy with the food and the care taken.Short cab ride into town cost £9 or its about 30 min walk.Rooms: impeccably clean and beautifully staged

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch at The Cloisters restaurant as non-guests. We were really impressed with the high quality and preparation of our meals. In particular, the beef was cooked perfectly to order and was very tender and flavoursome. We originally chose starter and mains, which were quite filling, but glad we later tried the delicious dark chocolate brownie desert. Unbelievably, our meals were no more expensive than a good pub Sunday lunch, these days. All of the staff were exceptionally pleasant. The restaurant, setting and lounges were very relaxing.

here's a side access for wheelchair users, with a lovely level access pathway to a glass walled galley which leads into the reception, and all the staff were very happy to assist. The accessible entrance felt just as luxurious as the grand main entrance, so I really didn't feel put out in going through a separate doorway. You may also like to know that this hotel is the first I've even stayed in in my entire life who have requested a fire safety form to be filled out detailing my abilities incase of a fire, absolutely fantastic service. Our 'classic' rooms were in the newer section of the hotel with level access throughout and being on the ground floor I felt perfectly safe, even if we were opposite the fire escape. The room was very spacious and had lots of gadgets like USB charge points, but unfortunately the bed was a divan so I couldn't get my hoist legs underneath it for transferring. The carpet was fairly long so it meant the hoist was a bit trickier to move across the room, but it was manageable. The bathroom was very big but not necessarily equipped for disabled guests other than a lowered sink, easy turn taps and grab rails with an emergency cord- there wasn't a pull down seat in the wet room shower and the shower head is a fitted rainfall head so that would have been difficult to use, there is a smaller hose to use if required. But I have no doubt that the staff would have done all they could to find a chair if I had requested so, but on first impressions the bathroom could have been a little better.

There is nothing not to like about this hotel. We had a one night stay meeting some family in Bath. From the moment we arrived the staff where helpful and pleasant.Plus made my dog feel very welcome. Doggie bed, treats and bowls in a very comfortable classic twin bed room right next to the fire escape for easy access to their fabulous gardens and grounds where I was able to walk the dog quickly after a 3 hour drive. Bar staff and waiting staff all equally helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre - although we didn't do it i found the path that follows the river into Bath which is about 2 miles away.

Stayed in the John Eveleigh Suite for our Wedding. The room was incredible. The service and attention to detail was amazing. Kamila and her team went above and beyond to ensure our Wedding was perfect. Would highly recommend for a Wedding.

We booked Bailbrook Hotel for our wedding. We were not disappointed. From the initial visit, to have a nosey and look around. The follow up chats and meetings, booking the venue and then holding the wedding including the ceremony at Bailbrook. We were thoroughly looked after. You will not be disappointed if you book here. We were made to feel a million dollars throughout the whole process and event. The cherry on the cake, was that we were allowed to bring our beloved dog Waffles with us and she was an important part of our day. Lorella, Debbie and Elena must get special mention as they looked after us and helped the process of organising everything and then running the event go so smoothly. I know I’ll be forever grateful. The venue itself is stunning and full of character. The team who work here really do go the extra mile to make you feel valued and a welcome guest. I can not recommend this hotel and the team here highly enough. Thank you for all you did for us and making our day truly memorable. Legends so you are and we look forward to coming and enjoying the hotel again very soon.

Set in a beautiful 18th century house, the management could really make more of the interior design and take better advantage of the setting. It's a nice hotel, the room we had was nice but dark and really lacked any flair in colour scheme or design, it felt like staying at a conference centre. I have stayed in much better for much less money. Overall I would say that it is adequate, the bed was comfortable, the room clean and well equipped and the staff perfectly pleasant, but come on, you really could do better!

A lovely comfortable room. Very clean with fridge for the complementary milk and water. Not too far from Bath. Food was delicious in both the restaurant and conservatory. Staff always happy to help.

Where do I begin? Everything was perfect. The view, the location, the room, the food, it was a great experience.
