Not much else could beat sitting in the gardens of Bathampton Mill on a glorious sunny June evening sipping a variety of interesting cocktails. We were there to celebrate a birthday and the evening was very special. We moved inside the restaurant to eat and the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the waiting staff efficient and friendly and they could not have done more to make the celebration memorable. We understand some refurbishment is to take place and we will look forward to returning when the work is completed.

Accessed by using the toll bridge over the river Avon, cost £1 each way, this lively pub/restaurant does a good selection of standard dishes. We both opted for fish - sea bass and salmon - and both were excellent. My wife's dessert was even better, so we had a thoroughly excellent meal.

I've been many times to Bathamton Mill - and I went for a couple of coffees with friends on a Saturday morning. This is the first time I've been since lockdown I was unaware that the car park was now pay and display so today when I received an unexpected parking fine of £85 - for an hours visit - I am pretty shocked and if I have to pay it will be the last time I visit. Times are tough - and charging £85 for 1 hours visit is wholly unreasonable - I really hope management can help Would love any advice anyone has.. Thanks

Just stopped here for some drinks, intended to stop at the george but they were closed so found here instead. Really friendly service by all, would return again. The lady behind the bar offered to make me a mockail as was unsure on drink. It was lovely

We walked here from the canal yesterday, hoping for a lovely river view and a refresshing drink in the garden. Firstly we were dissapointed as the land between the pub & the river was so overgrown you couldn't see the view (as shown on the website). We then tried to order some shandys and a lager & lime. The app was not easy to use as we couldn't see where to make amendments. We decided to walk inside to order instead. After waiting for a while at the bar for quite a while and seeing other people in front of us get served, it was finally our turn. A woman came up to us and asked why we were waiting when we could order in the garden. We explained the issue and she said that you need to order lager and then you can make amendments. We said "oh okay, can we just order now that we are here and she said, well you can but we will serve everybody in the garden first so you'll just have to wait your turn. I understand that when things are busy that staff get a little frazzled but there was absolutely no need for her rudeness. We decided to leave and go to The George instead, much nicer atmosphere!

This place under short staff such a disorganised, went to bar get drinks asked about food been told they cannot serve food outside due to short staff however they can serve inside been told to help my self with food menus coming to order,finished my drinks outside in half hour came in been place fully booked cannot serve food,even bar wait 15.minutes by the way only 3-4 people at bar at the time it’s joke!!…disappointed with staff actions!! Such a disorganised place and misleading customers it’s wrong!!

The most beautiful spontaneous afternoon spent at the Bathampton Mill. My fiancé and I were seated outside on the terrace, we enjoyed a couple of drinks and he had the Nourish Bowl salad which he really enjoyed, I had a skinny Margherita Pizza which was absolutely delicious. Staff were lovely and attentive despite it being understandably busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon! We will most definitely be back.

We ended up here on a Sunday evening almost by accident as the George Inn was closed. We are so glad we did!! Staff were super friendly, found a big table for us and our daughter, and had an excellent kids menu. We both had roasts and they were fantastic, some of best we’ve had, plus an excellent non alcoholic cocktail (and pint). Best of all, the price was super reasonable and it is right by the lovely river. We’ll definitely be back - highly recommended

Couldn’t fault the service from the hostess and bar staff, but to see the mill in need of major repair is a shame considering it’s stunning location, come on brewery invest. Steve

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Bathampton Mill, trio roast is highly recommended. My daughter is vegetarian and found a good interesting choice settling for the fig and dolcelatte roast. Lovely setting by the river.
