“Dexter’s is a wonderful little Cafe! I have visited a few times and often recommend to people looking for a restful coffee in a pretty cafe. I visited today with a dog that I am looking-after and had a lovely coffee and cake.
Although, things didn’t go to plan as Claire (who from my understanding owns the cafe) was being friendly and saying hello to the dog, the dog (to my absolute horror) bit her. I couldn’t express enough how sorry I was.
Regardless, Claire was so lovely and understanding. I was absolutely mortified and embarrassed but Claire was so professional and kind. A lady sitting near by witnessed it and reassured me and was also so lovely! That kindness alone says a lot about the community of Dexter’s.
This cafe is a gem! I love the interior, the coffee and cake, the staff, and I appreciate it even more for the way they dealt such a naughty dog! Thank you for reacting in a kind way and I am really sorry!! Xx”
