Beautiful burgers! Very tasty. Had as a takeaway, would highly recommend! Also the waffle fries were a delight.

My boyfriend wanted to visit this place after seeing a review on tiktok, it looked great so we came in on a Sunday afternoon just after 5 when they opened. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, and the food literally blew my mind. No exaggeration the lotus burger is the best burger I’ve ever had. And my boyfriend says it was the best British food he has tasted in the two years he has been in this country. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone.

Atmosphere is good. Food was okay but overall they seemed to not care about severe food allergies that could kill people. For a place that handles and serves food to customers, you should probably brush up on Natashas Law before you find yourself in hot water.

The food was good, but I had my evening completely ruined because it took them 52 minutes to prepare 3 burgers. I do understand being busy, but I can't excuse not informing customers that waiting times can be long - particularly in a fast food restaurant. I would have made other arrangements and would've been able to say goodbye to my friends before catching the train. Also, to the owner who kept lying about the wait and repeating "I apologised", I want to say that apologies aren't enough. If a customer is complaining and has good reasons to do so, at the very least be honest and offer a refund. Not going back.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian option

Having tried most of the take-away burger places in Bath, and largely being disappointed, we tried Magu and WOW, this is next level stuff. Which is funny, because reading the reviews one sees one negative review after another about the service, but no one has anything bad to say about the burgers. We have never set foot in the actual Magu Diner, but are thrilled to be able to order these amazing burgers for home delivery. So, there's the pro-tip... stay at home and order a Magu burger. You will not be disappointed. Best burger I have ever eaten, no doubt. Congrats to the chef/owner and the whole team.

One of the best burgers I have had with my burger friend we have travelled around looking for great burgers and this definitely hits the top 5.. I had the mac n stack and my friend had the smash n grab (double obviously) can't say a bad word we will be visiting again shortly

No idea how you're supposed to order food in this place. Maybe their app? Second time I've been in. No one serving, staff milling around. Ignored and left.

I actually used to support this place and share their page on local bath groups because I thought the food was ok.Then, the owner made fun of my girlfriends Coeliac disease (even though they do gluten free buns?) and had a bunch of people laughing at us online. I'm a bit lost for words tbh honest.I'm a bit tired now of these naff hipster places of people in their thirties that are so busy trying to be 'cool' that they try to make fun of their own customers. It's quite embarrassing, its the sort of behaviour I'd expect from teenagers, not people who are supposed to be businessmen.The food is ok, but it's not worth people so insecure that they need to make fun of customers to be cool in their thirties lmao. You won't have an appetite anyway after that level of cringe.

My partner and I have been fairly regular customers of another establishment not far way from Magu which we've always enjoyed and a great benchmark for us. Nice little bar, great burgers and polite banter from the owner or locals.When we entered we found MAGU were only serving orders via Deliveroo etc (didn't realise they were closed to the public that day which seems odd, but hey ho) but said it was fine for us to sit.Reading some of the reviews below its sad to read of the bad or blunt service. We met Dave who is a character that may irk but we found him to be welcoming and very enthusiastic as we engaged with him about the food and business. If we just sat there, who knows, it could have felt a bit blunt like people have written.The food was outstanding in my opinion, the passionate conversation about what makes a great burger was fun and informative.Definitely worth a visit if you like your burgers and guaranteed to beat any chain restaurant equivalent!
Food is great 90% of the time.. ordered in advance or waiting for it.. the attitude of the staff isn’t great and when you order in advance, it can still be quite late and the wrong order which is disappointing but when they do get it right, damn good food! Just a bit hit and miss unfortunately, no consistency

Staff are extremely rude, no welcome as you come in the store and when asked if my order is ready the cook replied no very bluntly…. When he did bring the order out he said “here” and put it on the counter…. Ordered chicken skin fries at £6 and they gave me normal fries…. When I questioned this they said they didn’t have them in stock… but yet still charged me the higher price and regret to tell me this until I questioned it… burger was greasy and nothing special. Not even a thank you or a goodbye… I won’t be returning, over priced, rude and zero customer service.

Two burgers took nearly an hour to arrive. Don't bother eating in. They weren't even that bothered by how long they took. They also knew they had a lot of orders but at no point thought to inform us of the delay.

Booked a slot and turned up at the time onoy for them to put our order on the bar when we got there which meant we had to wait 40minutes stood at the counter for our food. Kept asking questions about time and being totally ignored, cannot believe they are still in business if they treat customers this badly
