2 words; "cherry" "cheesecake". Walking by on the way home from work and I looked through the window at some beautiful looking cakes. The lady working in the shoo saw me eyeing up the cheesecakes and beckoned me in. I was blown away by the size of the slice of cherry cheesecake and had to have it. The server was very friendly and gave it to go. It didn't last 5 minutes. I'll be staying locally quite regularly so will definitely be back.

We had a tea and a peppermint tea. Both seemed really tainted with what seemed to be a chlorine taste. Not sure if it's was from the cups, the pots or the water.

The coffee here was really great and their scones are delicious.

This place has a high footfall and table turnover which means it doesn’t really get cleaned between customers. The toilet was pretty grotty too. It served a purpose but I wouldn’t go back. Pretty cakes.

Great non pretentious coffee shop in the centre of Bath. Not waiter service, just check there's a table then order and pay at the counter and wait while they get it ready (which was quick and efficient). Prices are about as reasonable as it gets around here. Staff were both friendly and helpful. Cakes really good plus hot savoury pasties etc available.Would recommend for those wanting unfussy service, a fair deal and a place where they can take the weight off their feet rather than their wallet !

It is worth asking for the bigger cappuccino ☕️Lovely warm coffee shop. Maybe the staff are just feeling overwhelmed? It is really busy in there.I really enjoyed myself and we didn’t order food

Went into this coffee house for breakfast, we ordered 2 sausage sandwiches. I was called to the counter after a wait to collect our order, I sat down, opened the sandwich, which was in a paper bag, even though we were eaing in and the sausage sandwich consisted of 2 slices of white bread, not buttered, with the sausage inside and the sandwich not cut in half. Absolutely ridiculous, who serves a sandwich and doesn't bother to cut it in half ? Had to go back to the counter and request for it to be cut in half, our drinks were also served in paper disposable cups, which if we were taking our food and drinks away would.be fine, but not acceptable when you are sat inside at a table eating. Won't be visiting here again.

Such a shame that the 3 staff looked so miserable I had to clear our own table Ironic that it’s called quiet too as the girl was clattering dishes very loudly The chocolate cheesecake was lovely but I the staff didn’t smile once so wouldn’t go back

The Belgian hot chocolate here is really good. The espresso was pretty decent and the triple chocolate brownie was good. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was really nice.

Just because it's on quiet st have the staff also taken a vow of silence? Enticed in by fresh pastries only to be met by a stale atmosphere and cream teas. Felt pretty rubbish after the cream teas as it was all low quality fare.... shame because this place could be really nice with some effort, I can only echo the negative observations of other reviews.

Went here for breakfast and were quite disappointed. This place looks very inviting due to all the pastry’s etc in the window but the food we ordered was poor.I had 2 bacon sandwiches at £5.50 each which were terrible. The bacon was clearly pre cooked and just warmed up, it was hard and served on dry bread with no butter.Definitely think twice before eating here there are far nicer places in Bath & much cheaper too.

Worst cafe in Bath!! Service is appalling. Food and drinks well below average, rubbish really.I ordered a cappuccino. It was basically a sip of coffee and froth — see attached pic, that’s how much coffee I was served. I hadn’t touched the drink.I went back to ask for a top up as the cup was served 3/4 empty. The barista just added hot milk, so now I had a cup of milk. Went back again and another barista stepped in. She made me a fresh latte but it shouldn’t take 3 tries to get a coffee right. The cake also I changed after they charged me £3.7 for a dry scone. Tasted okay but not great. They did not refund the difference. Also weird atmosphere and tiny + dirty tables. This place looks so inviting from the outside but the magic is ruined as soon as you step in. Last time here for me.
