Within the vaults, the decor is dark, chairs are uncomfortable and as such the music felt oppressive.Having said that, the vaults feel like a hidden gem, so, give it a go!

Lovely pub - off the beaten track but worth a visit. Great real ale selection, comfortable seating and nice staff. Place has many floors with vaults so plenty of room!

I came in with an array of fluorescent wines glistening in my raybans they are the cost about £120 #clarified. Obviously money wasn’t a issue so I bought the entire pub a glass of Rothschild red cost about £1500 #clarified

A proper local pub with a great, unpretentious atmosphere, friendly service and good beer. I come here every time I'm in Bath and it never seems to change - which I think is a wonderful thing. Long live the SJWV!
