We didn't stay in the hotel. We visited for afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. Although the people were friendly, extremely polite, and smiley. The afternoon tea is unlimited drinks, and we struggled to taste all the variety of different teas. Put of about 10 We tried 2.Therefore, that let the service down, the table next to us even had to go find the lady and we was the only people on there.

Simply enchanting. The grounds are beautiful, the service is excellent, and the staff is super helpful. Our suite was a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom apartment. We felt as if it was our home. Highly recommendedWalkability: A few minutes walk from the botanical gardens and the crescent

I stayed here in September for a graduation celebration. The staff were so friendly and lovely and gave us a room upgrade. The grounds/spa were beautiful and as were the rooms. Had a great breakfast too, definitely would go back!

Booked for a very special occasion trip away was very disappointed for the price, room OK but very hot no air on only a fan woke up 6/7 times. I had water in my room opened already asked to a replacement waited an hour then had to call back. Spa and spa windows very dirty, reception said no table service for drinks on patio, waited 20 minutes for a beer and cocktail. Inside bar no one around waiting for service and gave up and went out. Receptionist not there on arrival no porter have to lug own bags back and forth. Breakfast very poor and we received plastic in the food. Table opposite was left with dirty plates the entire 45 mins that was our view ! Plates were piling up even though it looked like lots of staff. Says dog friendly hotel when only 2 rooms are. Grass to overgrown for bowls and pool outside you can’t even take a drink there ! They don’t even supply plastic or faux plastic cups, paper cones only ! No service to the pool at all. Save your money and go to royal crescent hotel much more 5 star.

Had an amazing stay, unfortunately though too short. My wife and I were truly impressed about the cleanliness of the rooms, high quality services and kindness of the team as well as the amazing view from the rooms. We received a free upgrade to a larger room and the bed was incredibly comfortable.A big and special thank you to Chef Catalin Jauca and his team who cooked an amazing tasting meu and recommended a wine pairing meu that was absolutely extraordinary and definitely Michelin Star worthy!Thank you again and we look forward seeing you soon Bath Priory!Rooms: Spacious and luxurious old fashioned rooms, clean and with a great viewFood & drinks: Michelin star dining

We had a mini stay for 2 nights just to relax, it was all made possible by the excellent service and welcome we received. The food was stunning and the kitchen made a herculean effort to accommodate my food requirements, they were amazing. The staff were so well trained and it was delightful to see such young talent being given an opportunity to get experience in a tough industry. Our room was comfortable with a stunning view over the garden. It poured when we were there but I can only imagine how lovely it would be in the spring and summer too.

Both times I’ve stayed here have been great! The service is super friendly and accommodating and the rooms are lovely! Spa is great too. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Location is easily walkable from the city centre as well!

This review is for the Afternoon Tea service. It was recommended to us by our hotel staff, and I wish I could say that it was great, but it wasn't. We were greeted nicely and were seated in a small room that had about 8 tables and only one other couple having tea. The people were nice but I honestly still don't know who our server was supposed to be. We were there for hours and that was only because the service was so abysmal. The tea was good (when we could get it which was once after the initial offering) and the pastry chef is excellent. The sandwiches weren't great and had smears of avocado on ones without avocado in them, etc. The other couple in the room left after about 20 minutes and so we were the only guests. I think they just forgot about us, multiple times. At one point my husband had to get up to ask for more hot water for our tea, and then later we were waiting for scones that one woman assured another man she had put in... but turns out hadn't? Yet another woman popped her head in and then we thought we'd get service but she just went away... never to be seen again. After waiting for the scones (which they bring last only after you've finished your sandwiches and desserts) for a while (all while I'm saying, wow they must be making them fresh, that's nice... and then realizing something must be wrong) we finally found someone to ask about them and turns out the order hadn't been put in after all. If ANYONE had bothered to check on us in the last 1/2 hour they would have known! If you're going to go, do it on the weekend when there might be more people so you can snag a waiter to ask for things like tea or your food, otherwise know that you should go find someone. We won't be back.

Couldn't fault them in any way. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the room was really well equipped, bed was humongous, food was incredible and the building was stunning. Definitely worth staying there again.

I went for morning tea and lunch here and I disappointed there was no separate disabled toilet. The staff were very helpful and I was able to use the disabled toilet in the Accessibility room but this was only until 3pm as visitors were checking in that time. There should be a separate disabled toilet available for guests and visitors.

We came for the afternoon tea here, and it was absolutely stunning. The service was also perfect. Kind, welcoming staff where nothing was too much trouble.I’m not keen on fish, so my sandwich’s in the afternoon tea were swapped for a mixture of others. Nothing was too much trouble. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be visiting again.

I think it's our favorite accommodation so far. The warm welcome, the quality service, the top notch breakfast and the beautiful room made a happy and memorable experience. We will highly recommend the Bath Priory and come black as soon as possible.
