Beautiful food and brilliant service! We got rarebit and haddock fritters to start, and I got a North African filo pastry dish and my partner got the steak for mains. All of it was sublime with a very unique blend of flavours. We finished out the meal with a round of cocktails, the lemon drop was stunning. You won’t regret ordering it! We went on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was lovely, a buzzy little spot in Bath. Definitely book if you’re interested in going.Vegetarian options: Really unique vegetarian options - it’s clear effort has gone into crafting these for both flavor and nutritional value

The circus is a “hidden gem” in the city of Bath. It is really close to the crescent. Circus menu changes seasonally but all of them are made with attention to detail, which i really like. For instance, some simple parts such as grilled lettuce or french fries are made with care.I would highly recommend cured seabass. It is a must order menu. The foods are excellent. The service is excellent. You should visit this place.I would revisit this place whenever I visit Bath.Vegetarian options: Some vegan options on the menu. Ratatouille is delicious here too.

Highly recommend it if you're in town. The food is amazing, the service is good and the wine selection is decent.I got the beef curry with jasmine rice - it was delicious. Wifey got North African brioulat filo and she quite enjoyed it. We also got haddock fritters for appz. They also have a good wine selection to pair with the food.Make a reservation. We went in at 5:30 and they got packed really fast.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at The Circus Restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare. From the moment we walked in, we were transported into a world of wonder and flavor. The standout dish for me was the Beef Curry. It was an explosion of rich, aromatic spices that danced on my palate, leaving me craving for more. The tender, succulent meat combined with the perfectly balanced sauce was a true masterpiece. To cap off this culinary adventure, we indulged in the Creme Brulee, a dessert that was nothing short of divine. The velvety custard was flawlessly complemented by the crisp caramelized top, creating a harmonious symphony of textures and flavors. Our delightful journey was further elevated by the impeccable service provided by Marco. His knowledge of the menu and attentive nature ensured we made the perfect selections. What's more, his engaging conversation added a personal touch to our dining experience.I wholeheartedly recommend The Circus Restaurant to anyone seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. The atmosphere exudes a magical charm that enhances the entire meal. The food is nothing short of exceptional, and the service is delivered with a level of care and expertise that sets this establishment apart.

Excellent food, excellent service. This is definitely a hidden gem. Unpretentious just a great meal. The value was also very good. Food prices are moderate for the quality and you can pair a great wine without going over budget. 5 stars!

Lovely surroundings, ambience, a good wine list with affordable, mid- range and expensive and excellent service. But the food is very ordinary. Good trout starters but the haddock croquettes were more potato than fish, steak uneaten because it was tough. Puddings pleasant enough. The food basically isn’t up to the standard of the rest of the restaurant.

Great lunch with perfect service and friendly atmosphere. Ask for Marco, wonder story about his tattoos.

What a treat! We loved everything about this restaurant - the food, the atmosphere, building & location. Our meal last night was very memorable (pheasant kiev, flatiron steak & chocolate creme brulee x 2), the staff were attentive but not intrusive, the building is quirky and a one minute walk from our apartment rental in The Circus. This restaurant is upmarket without being pretentious which is part of the appeal. We will definitely eat here again on our next trip to Bath.

We ate out every night for a week whilst in Bath and The Circus Restaurant was the most enjoyable in my opinion. A combination of food quality/presentation and service were top notch. The menu is small, but sometimes that's a good thing because what they do is done to a high standard with lovely flavours. Also the serving staff are very good indeed. Highly recommended.

Very good food with a nice presentation of each dish. I went for lunch and had the 3 course meal which was decently priced and well worth it.The service was friendly. I would recommend this place if you are around the area, may need to book in advance to ensure you get a seat.

Everything about this restaurant is perfection! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The food is out of this world amazing! The flavour combinations are incredible and the presentation is just beautiful. The whole experience was throughly enjoyable, my only complaint is we aren’t local so can’t return regularly!
