Canteen quality food, dried out from being kept warm. Priced like it was going to be far better. Seemed like it was setup just to exploit tourists, assuming they wouldn't be back anyway. Good service, but definitely wouldn't return.

Sadly very poor quality. It used to be a great place back in the day but now not so. The dreaded pancakes, see other reviews, were not fresh cold, dry, hard and even the smothering of yoghurt and blueberries did nothing to add flavour. At least they didnt charge us for them. The scrambled egg, and beans were uninspiring, the hashbrowns tasteless and soggy, the one slice of bacon was not bad but left a bad taste in the mouth when we found out it cost £3.25! Even the waitress seemed embarrassed about that one although she was nice enough. Realised too late should have gone for full English with more items and lower price tag. Even the tea was weak although left to steep for normal amount of time and served in small coffee cups weirdly. It was the only place we could find with free tables after searching for a while, guess we found out why. All in all disappointing and not a great reminder of its past glory days. Don't like leaving bad reviews but the experience warrants it.

I was excited to try this place based on reviews, the wait staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. However that’s where the good ends.As I dipped the tiniest, driest slice of bread into my shakshuka the egg whites were completely raw. As you can imagine, that immediately put me off. I called a member of staff over who handled it exceptionally well and it was taken off my bill (thus the one star). My partner said the omelette was nice but the sides he got weren’t worth it. The £3.95 hash browns (just two) were so overcooked and dry that you couldn’t distinguish it from a wooden block in a blind taste test. The tiny pot of scrambled egg had half a glass of water and oil collected at the bottom. And the thin slices of bread marketed as toast costing £1 each were the final disappointment. In hindsight, we should have walked out when we saw that the oat milk charge was 95p.

BEST CEASAR SALAD EVER! I always visit this place for their grilled chicken salad whenever I’m in Bath as it’s amazing! Service is great and atmosphere is great too!I would recommend going earlier or later in the day as they get really busy during lunch time and it’s also quite loud in the restaurant as it’s a small space but definitely not one to miss! Also, remember to bring cash for tipping as it’s not included in the bill and they can’t add it to the card machine!Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is quite small (just bolognese and garlic ciabatta) and our daughter found the high chair quite uncomfortable but if your toddler is happy to sit on the regular chair or on your lap then definitely a must visit! The space is small so if you can avoid bringing a pram it would be more convenient.

Went here for brunch and the food was delicious! Fast service and the staff were really friendly. Great selection of breakfast food and a lovely atmosphere :)

The veggie Breakfast was nice, I asked them to swap out the white bread for brown which they accommodated at no extra cost. The pancakes were horrible, they tasted cardboard, they smothered yogurt and blueberry compote to hide the hard texture and bland taste of the pancakes. The white chocolate mocha just tasted like coffee with a dash of chocolate powder, I tasted no white chocolate and the bitter coffee was too strong.

Fabulous breakfast and service. My husband throughly enjoyed his cowboys beans on a very cold morning. Highly recommended.

Visiting Bath for the weekend and wanted a great quality breakfast in a cosy local cafe. Exactly what we wanted. Staff were great too.

Good range of Brit and world breakfasts/lunches. We had a fry-up and scrambled eggs on sourdough. Both very nice.

Waited outside a long time for an indoor table. We weren't really kept updated on waiting times for a table. Very cramped inside when we got there.Ordered breakfast items - the shakshuka looked lovely, friends said it was ok.Gluten free bread available, I had the scrambled eggs and salmon. The salmon was mixed into the eggs, which made the whole breakfasts cold. The toast was soggy.Coffee was lovely though.Service was ok
