A most enjoyable visit to the Locksbrook Inn for our group New Year meal. Good service ,good food, coupled with a positive staff attitude.

My dog actually behaved herself in here which I'm taking as a a cue for a very positive review. Comfy, nice fires, and a lively but not noisy Saturday early evening. Menu not too long and not bad for plant eating types like me. Dog didn't say no to titbits either. House white is a cracker. Staff are young and personable, attentive and considerate. To the chef I'd say don't go mad with the cinnamon when your rhubarb can sing on its own. And in terms of the dessert menu, have a word with yourself and get a superb British custard on there to stick on STP and crumble!

Came here for Sunday roast as wanted somewhere close to daughter’s uni house ! It didn’t disappoint, great food my daughter and I had the vegan nut roast and my partner had the beef . Excellent food and staff were really lovely . The rhubarb and apple crumble was to die for ??. We will definitely come here again, we were also fed up with driving into city centre and trying to park etc , this place has parking so was brilliant ? Can’t fault it .

Lovely Sunday roast here! The Brie wellington was really nice. Attentive and lovely staff and we really enjoyed our evening here. Thank you

Glacial service (pub was largely empty) and underwhelming food. Ordered padron peppers, chorizo and fries. Now bearing in mind the word "fries" is mentioned three times within the mains, but inexplicably not a side (only options cheesy chips and truffle chips), I expected fries. No, just chunky chips and was told they don't do fries. I was charged £4.75 for that small bowl of chips, that I neither ordered nor wanted, the same as cheesy chips despite no cheese. Also, for £5 I received a paltry seven padron peppers. Absolute rip off.Excellent options for low alcohol beers though, good to see.

Popped in today with my wife and enjoyed a very good pint of Bath Gem and shared a roast veg pizza. It was one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten and from Monday to Friday before 6pm you can get one for £6. Probably the best value lunch in Bath. Characterful pub, friendly staff and a nice fire. Do yourself a favour and go there.

Very disappointed. We’ve eaten here many times so we are usually very happy with service and food but sadly not the case on Sunday 29th October. Items were missed from an order which took an hour to arrive where the plates of the roast pork belly were not consistent. One had very little veg no carrots and was swimming in gravy almost to hide the lack of roast potato’s The restaurant did not appear busy so the wait was pretty irritating. When we ordered drinks they differed from the previous round. All in all very poor inconsistent and will not be returning anytime soon. If a pub can’t get a roast right give it a wide berth. IMHO.

Nice friendly pub just outside of bath. Decent selection of beers and other beverages. Food menu looked good but didn’t eat

This place is a wonderful place to eat. The atmosphere is incredible and the staff are lovely. Thank you so much! We had the veggie platter and the margarita pizza and a couple of pints of cider and it was all incredible. It's a little on the pricey side but SO worth it!!!

Lovely interior, nice location at the rear, by river. Friendly staff. Vegetarian roast - lentil wellington. Good meal, tasty. Vegetables really nice. Roast potatoes good - not excellent. Can do better at home tbh. Yorkshire pudding was flat though! Seeing other peoples', ours were squat and not light, airy or particularly crispy. Could have done with more gravy but no-one came around for a while, so didn't ask for more. Ordered extra of cauliflower cheese to share. Priced at £7 and very average. Not gooey, crispy or golden. More like cauliflower in a white sauce quickly topped with mean amount of cheese and flashed under the grill. Def not baked. And the cauliflower was actually quite crunchy, so disappointing. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Very nice. Portion big enough to share for just enough of that sweet ending to satisfy. Service charge added, which everyone does now but service as you would expect - people bringing menu then your food... as job description! So, yes would go again, but will pass on the cauli cheese!

Met some friends for a pizza and a pint after work. Pizza was great but £2.75 for a lime and soda!!!! Shocking. Beware of pricey drinks!

We booked here using the website open table as we were out and looking for somewhere close by with a choice to cater for different desires. The first thing we were impressed by was the level of service throughout and then willingness to deliver off menu if available. Then the food which was exceptional, we had a pizza, bar staple fish and chips and sea bream. All were very very good and of a standard you would expect from the best speciality restaurants in the area. We will definitely be returning and will gladly recommend The Locksbrook Inn, Well done to all the team.

We were delighted to find this pub at the end of the cycle path after a very long walk. Staff were super-friendly. We needed quick food before we headed off and we got an amazing roasted veg pizza in a matter of minutes - and it was on a special deal as we were in on a week day. Absolute bargain! We will return, because the whole place and the full menu looked great.

Stopped here for an afternoon drink having walked from Bath City centre back to where we were staying. The beer garden was a real suntrap in the afternoon. We returned later that evening to eat. Food was reasonably priced from a straightforward menu and was as I expected. Nothing fancy.
