A friendly little pub a few minutes walk from the city centre. We called for Sunday Lunch and only just got a table so I recommend you pre-book. A tasty pork belly with a wide range of accompanying vegetables. A nice atmosphere with a mix of locals and tourists.

After a stroll round Henrietta Gardens we stopped for lunch at The Pulteney, very welcoming with lovely food, good portions at reasonable prices, dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Visiting Bath for their annual Christmas market and wanted to stop in for grub at this local pub. Staff were brilliant when calling in and so accommodating sorting a table for us upstairs on a busy Friday night. Simple pub menu and everything ordered was done really well, served hot! Thank you for being part of our memorable day out in Bath ?

Enjoyed roast beef one Sunday with a pint of Timothy Taylor's bitter.Pleasant ambiance, plenty of happy conversations.

This was the second time we've been here only to be told there was no record of our booking. Manager seemed to suggest it was our fault for booking via telephone. We would have stayed to take her offer of a high table and stools, but she was so rude and complacent, we left and went to The Raven in Central Bath, where we had excellent food and service. She might have a good business because the food at Pulteney is excellent, but she's lost us as customers (we visited often) because of their poor booking system and her manner.

We popped in for a quick drink. Everyone was so welcoming and it just felt like a lovely pub. Next time we are back in bath we will definitely go back for a Sunday lunch as they looked awesome ?

This is a great little pub on the edge of Bath. They have a small outside space which is perfect to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the world go by. Nice and relaxing and good food and service.

A truly excellent, friendly pub, splendid variety of drinks and possibly the best pub food in Bath. Highly recommended.

Food was ok, my friend liked his more so. Perhaps my choice of ham, egg & chips.... Service was engaging and good. Ambience good, beer good.
