Friend and I ordered jacket potatoes. My riend was about to eat and noticed mould on the ends of some of the grated cheese. Gave the dishes back and prepared to leave. Went to the counter to get a refund and someone came back from the kitchen and said, 'they said it was parsley'. We are both chefs by trade and it was clearly not parsley as ot was a bluey green colour, the colour that preheated cheese goes of its been hanging around too long on a bag.It wouldn't have been so bad if we'd had an apology but all we got was the voice of a washer woman shouting rather loudly from the kitchen 'there's nothing wrong with the cheese'. Won't be going back and have to thank them really as we ended up at The Crown, in Churchill where we had an amazing meal.and the staff were friendly and polite.

Lovely, relaxed, spacious tea rooms and court yard.A wonderful little shop with local produce and lots of goodies to fill your basket with!Great accessible toilet too perfect size for a wheelchair or a pushchair. Having the toilet and the changing table in together makes a huge difference to parents.

Had a very nice large breakfast here, dog friendly can sit in the courtyard weather permitting. Misses enjoyed her sausage and egg bap. Cakes looked yummy. Didn't look in the shop

Perfect lunch outside of Bath, I love the countryside drive to the tea rooms and on arrival it feels like you’ve arrived at a haven (of delicious wholesome food)!I have become somewhat of a regular and even then I cannot decide what to get; the specials are always a good choice, and new manor ploughman’s and beef burger a staple firm favourite from the regular menu. Portions are great. Looking forward to seeing what’s new next time.

Love coming here- it’s a perfect mid-point when meeting friends on the other side of the county. What makes it the best stop is the food. Fresh and you can taste that it’s all made from scratch. Perfect that the farm shop is next door as you can pop in and get other things they’ve made fresh in the kitchen!

Always enjoyed this lovely spot. Good local food and friendly kind staff. And I was in heaven today with the cheese scone with butter. Well worth a visit to have a brief escape from the city like I did.
