“The restaurant is well decorated and has a sophisticated vibe to it.The service is excellent and the staff are very attentive.Overall, the food is good. It’s less Chinese take away tastes and flavours but more of a gourmet spin. However, the portions are decent.The only slight complaint is the egg fried rice was very plain and almost tasted just like plain rice.The egg flavour was almost not distinguishable, which was a little disappointing.”

“Excellent pub which I have popped into a few times now. Nice decor and good atmosphere. Great efficient bar staff and well kept drinks with proper glassware and a nice beer selection. Stopped in last night for a quick pint - ended up staying for the quiz which was a laugh. Recommended if you’re in the area, definitely one of the better pubs in the Clevedon area. Dog friendly by the looks of it too.”

“We were there for a birthday party. Meal was nice and hot albeit we waited quite a while for it. The venue itself can accommodate quite a few more than the 60+we had.Bar device was good. They had lots of staff on to assist.Staff were friendly & helpful.”

“Visit of 1st of June 2023:It's been a while since I first came here and hence this late review.Extremely attractive, contemporary decor and to me it has a lot of an American gastropub feel to it.It has a musician's 'open mike' spot and a great atmosphere was on when I returned in the evening for a drink! Don't remember the musician singing and playing but he was certainly very good..Very funky, great music in the background and the staff were amazing, very friendly, welcoming and attentive.A big thank you and shout out to Lottie who was Five Stars and an amazing person.Lottie immediately made me feel wonderfully comfortable, relaxed and as if I was a regular client or part of this Limehouse family.My Salmon small flatbread with the trimmings was very tasty, freshly made and delicious. The pint of Atlantic Ale on tap served in a proper handle pint glass was perfect and accompanied my meal fantastically.What a pity I don't live on Hill road or Clevedon otherwise this gastro establishment would certainly be my very favourite to go place!To you all at the Limehouse, I certainly hope that your boss or the owner looks after you all!You all are no doubt the 'A Team' that makes us, new or regular clients very grateful with your hospitality and excellent service....especially LOTTIEHighly recommend this gastronomic delight serving traditional British and American cuisine.Definitely will be back again next time I'm in Clevedon...Vegetarian options: Yes, quite a few vegetarian options availableParking: You'll find a free street parking but maybe not right in front of the Limehouse entrance”

“Lovely sunny day out at Clevedon after a nice stroll along the front decided to call in at the Salthouse with friends for lunch, as the weather was sunny thought we may have a problem with seating outside but that was not an issue there was plenty of seating, we chose our meals from the menu and went inside to order our meals and drinks the only minor issue i had was that after waiting in the queue to order our meals we then had to join the queue at the bar to order our drinks. We never had to wait long for our meals to arrive they were hot well presented on the plate and very well cooked and a full plate full i cannot fault them, i would return again for another meal my compliments to the chef.”

“Overlooking the estuary the pub is perfectly located. Spacious clean room cleaned and re-equipped (tea etc) daily. The bar is well stocked and efficiently run while the food is good and plentiful.Dog friendly, whereas other local bars were not, the staff worked hard to make us welcome.”

“The room I stayed in was excellent. The view over the estuary was brilliant and it was great to see several weather fronts roll in from Wales on the opposite side.The breakfast was adequate and better than a previous BW I’ve stayed at recently as they actually offer a cooked breakfast which will be played or buffet depending on the number of other guests.The location is about 10 min walk to the seafront and town centre.The carpark can be a bit tight and I had some trouble with my car since it’s quite long and the spaces between the rows limited.Overall, it’s a good stay if you’re in the area.”
