Busy new years day. Fantastic service from the staff. Coffee and food came out quickly. The gluten free full English was to die for! The nicest gluten free bread I've had in a long time!

Although they forgot some of our order, the rest was excellent. And staff were very friendly.

Were passion for quality food and service meet, this is a real gem of a place to come for breakfast lunch or dinner, but remember one thing you need to book because the secret is out its very popular and there is many reasons why. Thank you for always making me feel so welcome which is why I will always keep coming back 5 Stars every time ?????

The food is good and fresh. We had the sea bass - was very tasty. The flat white was nice too. The outdoor area is funky, good to relax in the sun. They have left out suncream for those of whom the sun doesn't like - nice touch that my shoulders appreciated. Service was good enough.

More than a cafe, surely! Visited today for the second time - rump steak as good as it gets, great service and friendly staff. Try it!

Top rating of 2/30 on TripAdvisor brought us here. Despite the super waterfront location our breakfast was very good. Something a little different with a healthy guacamole, perfectly cooked poached eggs and spinach on toasted tiger bread with a hint of hot sauce. Bright interior with wide windows to capture the view and large terrace. Special lunch, or using their medieval definition "luncheon" looks good. Very happy to pay the presumptuous service charge. ????

The food and service here are simply stunning. I have been 3 times with different friends and family in the last month for lunch. Exciting menu which changes and keeps interest. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have come away every time wanting to return to experience this quality of food.

We enjoyed high-quality Italian food in the restaurant. The service is slow due to the crowd, but the staff are friendly and patient. The scrambling from the table next to us, when we asked for a shed added a little uncomfortable feeling. I believe it would be helpful for the staff to give them a bit of a reminder. We would definitely cycle there for food again.

Top quality food served by people who obviously care about what they do. Can get very busy, so book or be prepared for disappointment. Usually space outside, and blankets can be offered, but if there is an onshore breeze then it can be chilly!Dogs only permitted outside, but fair enough as it is cramped inside when busy.

Brilliant staffGorgeous cakeDelicious coffeeWhat more can we say other than an all round 10/10!A big thank you for accommodating a large group of 22, out of the wind & rain & into the warmth of No. 5, on busy Saturday morning.

Great for afternoon tea. Fully recommended. Always very friendly staff. Used to go regularly for breakfast on weekends but the standard has dropped & the menua isnt as good. For example, saying on the menu a veggie breakfast comes with avocado and then serving a dollop of guacamole is just annoying & disgusting. Its not the same thing, doesn't match the flavours & just feels cheap.
