“Excellent pub which I have popped into a few times now. Nice decor and good atmosphere. Great efficient bar staff and well kept drinks with proper glassware and a nice beer selection. Stopped in last night for a quick pint - ended up staying for the quiz which was a laugh. Recommended if you’re in the area, definitely one of the better pubs in the Clevedon area. Dog friendly by the looks of it too.”

“Lovely sunny day out at Clevedon after a nice stroll along the front decided to call in at the Salthouse with friends for lunch, as the weather was sunny thought we may have a problem with seating outside but that was not an issue there was plenty of seating, we chose our meals from the menu and went inside to order our meals and drinks the only minor issue i had was that after waiting in the queue to order our meals we then had to join the queue at the bar to order our drinks. We never had to wait long for our meals to arrive they were hot well presented on the plate and very well cooked and a full plate full i cannot fault them, i would return again for another meal my compliments to the chef.”

“Overlooking the estuary the pub is perfectly located. Spacious clean room cleaned and re-equipped (tea etc) daily. The bar is well stocked and efficiently run while the food is good and plentiful.Dog friendly, whereas other local bars were not, the staff worked hard to make us welcome.”

“Brilliant owners and staff!I had a return from travelling gathering here with all my family and friends, around 50-60 people. The Bristol were very helpful in organising the event and sectioned off certain areas of the pub for us! They also let me put a buffet out. The owner also checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well which I thought was very kind!The party spent a lot of time in the pub and also outside in the massive garden area they have.Overall massive success and i am very grateful for them hosting :)”

Place over looking the seven estuary and Wales, Atmosphere was very good añd livened up at times by the group of youngish ladies close.
