A nice little guest house attached to a pub, in a great location, right next to the Clevedon pier. I had the best 2 nights sleep there, due to the extremely comfortable memory foam mattress. We had the large upstairs room which was very spacious, clean and warm. It does though have the feeling of needing a little upgrade as some furniture and the curtains have seen better days. It was lovely for us in winter to have a warm room, but working thermostats on the radiators would have been useful at night time. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this guest house.Note to the owner - the website repeatedly states that the check out time is 10.30pm, updating this would be helpful. Also as there is free WiFi in the rooms and not just the bar this might be useful to correct too.

Went to The Moon & Sixpence with my wife for a late lunch. Had a lovely cod goujon sandwich each with a portion of fries. The sandwiches were chunky as you can see from the picture, and served with crisps. To be honest a portion of fries between us might have been adequate as we didn't realise the sandwiches would be so chunky. All very nice though, and washed down with halves of Old Rosie.

Lovely place right on the sea front. Friendly staff, nice cosy place. Sunday roast was really good, lots of it tasty and good value. Don't walk on by.

A great pub in Clevedon next to the pier, home cooked food, was very tasty and I will definitely go back again.

Went there for Sunday lunch. The food was good and tasty and the staff were friendly. The menu is a bit limited, which is about the only negative comment I have. The place is nice and cozy and definitely on my list to visit again.

Nice position right on the seafront, and friendly staff, but does have its flaws. A friend of mine won't go because the beer was awful (bad lines), however mine was ok on last visit. But when I did go, I asked if someone was still sitting at the table as it had empty glasses on it, was told no so went and sat down, yet the staff didn't come and take the glasses or wipe down the sticky table, despite it being dead in there. I think just a bit more attention to detail, cleanliness and ensuring the lines are good would make a world of difference.

We booked several weeks ago to stay for the night as a birthday treat. We phoned to pay the deposit but the man said pay on arrival, the room is yours. On the day we were due to stay we received an email asking if we still wanted the room and within 30 minutes a rude man left a voice mail saying he had cancelled our booking. He didn't give us chance to even open the email. There was no reasonable explanation. If a deposit is needed then take it in the first place and dont leave it until the day if arrival to cancel on people. An appalling way to treat people.

Overlooking the estuary the pub is perfectly located. Spacious clean room cleaned and re-equipped (tea etc) daily. The bar is well stocked and efficiently run while the food is good and plentiful.Dog friendly, whereas other local bars were not, the staff worked hard to make us welcome.

Stayed here 26.09.23 originally for 1 night but was impressed with the service and breakfast decided to stay an additional night. The location is on the seafront and the rooms are quiet. The hosts were very friendly and nothing seemed 2 much problem. Will definitely stay

Arrived in Clevedon about 1.30 and ended up parked on road outside. Had light lunch before going a walk. Pub was quiet due to poor weather. Friendly staff food very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend this one.Food & drinks: Very good and reasonably priced

Called in with a friend in a wheel chair plus the dog. Staff greeted us at the door and were very polite and helpful. They offered to set up the wheel chair ramp. Good range of alcholic drinks and coffee and tea available, so great for designated drivers.

Great traditional pub, clean, friendly helpful staff, good menu choices...we all had the Greek specials, well impressed. Will definitely eat there next time we're in the area.

Been here a few times. Service a little slow at times but always good food and a decent varied menu. Good spot overlooking the sea.
