Lovely warm and friendly local's pub, great grub and beer and a very thought provoking, funny show performed by Brenda Read Brown in the skittle ally through the Inn Crowd.

A lovely, old-fashioned cosy pub. We had a really good meal, very reasonably priced, and my husband enjoyed a couple of pints of Palmers ale. But the most important thing is that the landlord and staff took the time to chat and make us feel welcome. We'll be back!

Nice place. Good food. Good service. Beer garden at back with tables. We had cider and food. Both excellent.

Fantastic food with brilliant service. Experience a real country English pub with great atmosphere. Fantastic menu choice from, I didn't know where to start with the choice of food on offer. In my opinion it's should cover everyone's taste from meat eater to vegetarians.

Very friendly local people. Bar staff also friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food really good struggle to fit deserts in. Been twice now will be back for sure x

Food priced well on basis of some prepackaged dishes. My chips were hollow from being recooked, ribeye steak was like leather. Half duck was clearly from microwave on a cold pkate with microwaved veg. For the price... 2 stars. And front of house need training on hospitality welcome.

Best pub food we have had in a long time. Fire was going and good atmosphere. Photos are chicken strip starter, steak, pork belly and biscoff cheesecake.

Great food, in both quality and quantity. Really friendly team there, helpful and courteous. Nice friendly locals to chat to when standing at the bar. Feels a very community driven pub. Good decor and enough nicknacks quirky enough to capture the imagination. Would thoroughly recommend. The type of pub that would make you move to the village just to enjoy it regularly.

Don't bother paying attention to the one star review, this place is lovely! If it's out of your way, go the distance, we did and we were so happy with it! The place is lovely and homely, the staff were equally as lovely, the garden is gorgeous and well maintained and the view from the bottom of it is beautiful! The food, oh god, it was EXCELLENT! I will admit I was expecting much from the kids chicken nuggets but they were made with a really nice seasoned batter, I tried both that and my girlfriend's lasagne and it was stupidly nice. I had the burger with cheddar and bacon and I've never had such a tasty, crispy shelled burger that was so juicy on the inside. Would thoroughly recommend!!!!!
