Good breakfast and service. Very friendly but was just a little chilly as it was a cold morning and they had just opened.Parking: Lots nearby both paid and free on street

Gone back to mortimers and absolutely shocking. Half of the jacket potato we had was hard. As for the puddings, one was inedible. Told the staff and they weren’t bothered. Was still charged for it and at £5 felt totally ripped off. The other pudding was charged £1 for a dollop of squirty cream. Waited over half an hour for someone to collect our plates and order pudding, when no one came I went to counter to order. Had to get up twice to let people in/out of table behind us, was so squashed in. We are locals and so disappointed it’s no longer Mad Hatters. Won’t be going again and certainly won’t recommend. P.S the only positive was the cappuccino was nice

Won’t go back again. Couldn’t be bothered service by the guy who was running it. Sweet little girl getting involved with the service. Expensive for the drinks we had.

What a little gem of a café! Service is excellent, friendly and personal. Dog-friendly. The burger is the best I have ever had, using local Exmoor-raised Dexter beef, with blue cheese & mushrooms. The Welsh-rarebit, cakes and cream teas are also superb. We’d eat here every day if we could.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options like Welsh Rarebit, cakes & cream teas.

It's now called Mad Hatter's. The food was wow and very generous portions. I had a baguette with sausage, bacon, fried egg and black pudding with side salad more like a breakfast in a baguette which filled me for most of the day. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to other establishments. The restaurant is clean and staff and owners very friendly. The cafe has a mad hatter's tea party theme. We'll worth the journey from Minehead to eat there and look around the small village.

This cafe has changed hands recently and seems to be trading as the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. We went in because it advertised fair trade coffee which we always aim to buy for ethical reasons. The cake was good and the coffee was OK but it did not seem to be fair trade as I was told it was Dowe and Egberts who are not, to my know a fair trade company.

This cafe is now under new owners and now called Mad Hatters Tea Party! It is very quirky with lots of Alice in Wonderland memorabilia. The menu is very good catering for all tastes and all freshly cooked. The wide range of cakes are all home made too! Very friendly would highly recommend.Parking: Dulverton is a beautiful small town with the river Exe passing through. There is on street parking and also two pay and display car parks.
