Stopped off here after a 14k walk circular walk from Odcombe. Fabulous little team room. We were made to feel very welcome. We had the ploughman's with tea and finished off with a coffee and piece of cake. If you are in the area would recommend the Village Cafe.Parking: Couple of parking spots in the car park and plenty of on road parking assuming you don't arrive at school pickup time

'Proper' village café, cosy & comfortable and friendly service. We had lovely refreshing tea in big, patterned cups & delicious cake. There was a good selection of food listed on the board. We were passing through, travelling from Lancashire. What a beautiful spot.

Small café with friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. The one star loss for me was for the lack of dairy free options, as my son has an allergy. It was a friendly little place though and I'd definitely recommend it if you are allergy free.Kid-friendliness: There were many children in when we arrived and plenty of high chairs for all.Dietary restrictions: Not many dairy free options (and no dairy free cakes/bakes).I cannot comment on other allergies.

Our first visit to this beautifully decorated little cafe. Myself and my wife both had the full vegetarian breakfast that was superbly cooked and was made using good quality ingredients. Latte's were good and the service was polite and efficient. Only slight niggles for us were the lack of mushrooms on the breakfast and no Chai latte on the drinks menu. Cakes look really nice and the lunch menu looks good so we will definitely return in the near future.

Visited tonight to savour a special 3 course meal for just an intimate number of folk. Every course was plentiful and so delicious. Dad visits on a regular basis and recommended this cafe to us. Jane, Charlotte and Tina were fabulous hosts so I hope they do this again. Wish I lived closer as I'd be there every day

Had an amazing lunch here today, really impressed. The cafe is beautiful and we had soup, breakfast bap and a panini for lunch and all was delicious. Mum wants the recipe for the Curried Parsnip Soup! Also took on two massive slices of cake for later and shared that between 4 of us, this was very good too! We will definitely be back, we're sorry it's taken us so long to visit before now!
