As a local, and a traveller- I can safely say that it is shocking that this place has 4.7 stars, with 151 reviews. It has to be one of least appetising bakeries I know. It looks ok, from the outside. But, food is low quality. With small selection.

Wonderful private bakery with extensive range of bread and rolls…also cakes and takeaway items such as pasties and filled rolls / sandwiches…helpful and cheerful staff nothing is too much trouble..we especially like the “cottage loaf” or the roll version…cake selection changes frequently and reflects the season..full disability access…parking can be problematic as it’s kerbside only — however highly recommend this lovely bakery…excellent fresh products

We have been going to Maiseys bakery every Saturday except through the pandemic ? for over 18 years when we moved to burnham on sea from Solihull in the West MidlandsSince the change of management all the staff have changed and we have noticed a marked increase in the prices of your bread and cakes today the 29/7/23 been the highest I paid £1.35 for the smallest Lardy square I have ever purchased.I know the cost of your ingredients as gone up in price. .Your bread and cakes are the best we have ever tasted. Just that we are finding difficult to comprehend the price bStay safe

A new door opened in my life yesterday when I tried their Biscoff Donut! I’m having 2 tomorrow! Wonderful shop established about 900 years ago and will carry on another 900 I’m sure! Great pies and sandwiches. God I’m fat!Diet starts tomorrow, or the day after……

Disgraceful that some of the staff, but not all, are handling money then serving unwraped bread and cakes without sanitising their hands, basic hygene even before COVID-19. I'll not be going back.
