Excellent meal as always in friendly atmosphere. Always go to Jacarandas when in Midsomer Norton for meals, coffees and cakes, etc.

We went to jacarandas on a suggestion from our friends in the UK. Visiting from USA and food was amazing. Had a proper English breakfast.Parking: Parking is a block away. Unless your fortunate and find one on the curb.

The food was excellent and the service was great! It is a really cute restaurant to have coffee and tea with family and friends!

Perhaps all the staff were having a bad day and didn’t feel like being friendly or courteous on our visit. Or perhaps they do not realise or care that pleasant customer service and a friendly smile goes a long way to getting people to return. We will be going elsewhere on our next trip to Midsomer Norton.

A nice lunch experience. Helpful staff and good sandwich options

The service was OK, but the waitresses stood over you waiting for your order before you had time to look at it properly.Food itself was very good and you paid for it when it arrived at your table, good idea then no one can walk out without paying, would go back again

Just stopped here for the first time. The sausage, egg, and bacon baguette was delicious. This cafe will definitely be my new favorite.Parking: You can park on the high street.

Visited on a Saturday and was keen to support a local business and not a chain. Despite 3 people working on the till I was largely ignored for several minutes. On member of staff made an effort but the other two were clearly uninterested in being there and seemed more focused on drinking their own drinks than serving customers. Even when finally my order was taken it was left unmade for several more minutes. I estimate I was there for 20 mins in total for 2 hot drinks. The drinks themselves were then too hot to drink and the coffee burnt. I'm sorry...I will try again but the experience was very poor.

Popped in for coffee and cake. Young lady behind the desk wasn't loving life and was unsmiling as she took our order. Obviously she didn't really pay attention to what we asked for as approximately 30 seconds later she brought an order that wasn't ours to the table. Our actual order did arrive quickly after that and was all fine. 1 tea 1 coffee and a piece of millionaires shortbread big enough to share was about £7.50, so price was typical for the area and it all tasted good. I'd go back again, give it a go.

The coffee and home made cake is fabulous. As with all things today it's not cheap but where is. The town of Midsomer Norton is so pretty and jacarandas have outside seating so you can watch the world go by when the weather allows.

We eat here every time we visit Midsomer Norton. The food is well-prepared and reasonably priced. It is difficult to single out a particular aspect of their menu, but the cakes are to die for. The service is pleasant and prompt. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

The sausage end egg sandwich was gorgeous. The pot of tea, piping hot. Great. Just how things should be.. Great service.. Thank you.

Jacarandas is a fabulous place to drop anchor. The staff are lovely the location is wonderful; just a pavement-width away from a beautiful carefully landscaped little river. During the summer, large bifold doors can be opened, so some of those within can enjoy the burbling water along with souls seated at tables under a canopy outside. Jacarandas serves delicious wholesome food, freshly prepared to order. The cake counter should come with a warning for those with no willpower (guilty as charged). The selection is irresistible. I was compelled to sample what, for me, was a new-take on the venerable chocolate brownie. It had a thick mint filling (think After Eight with nobs on) and generous choccy topping. Don't know who made it, but they deserve an Irresistibility-Medal. In these days of national-chain-caffs, Jacarandas is a super top-dollar local resource which deserves all the loyalty and trade which comes its way. Please check it out.

I found the staff here really quite unfriendly. No smile or politeness what so ever and the odd scowl. It's a real shame because I would rather support this small business then go to Costa, but the staff are more welcome.
