Not happy at all with this young boy pretends to be the LAW. on wednesday popped in to get some lemon sliced cakes as i always do coz i love em but on this occasion it was very cold went inside with my hat and balaclava took my cake about to pay this boy demands i remove my balaclava saying it's policy. WHAT POLICY? if it was there should have been signs for customers then yesterday night went to fuel as usual around 8nish they shut so you have to pay from outside as i start fueling he turned the pump off not even saying a thing so i walked to him asked him what's happening he said i need to remove my balaclava i was like am not removing anything it's coldyou know me this is the second time your doing this i just walked away went to Tesco express filled up with my balaclava on went in to pay with my balaclava on. You staff is arrogant not friendly at all and very bossy not buying anything from there till he's gone. To make it worse am a nei ghbour living next to shell. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

My partner went to pump up her tyres only to find that it deflated one of them. When she went to ask for help she was told it was broken. Why would you let someone have a token if you knew it was playing up. They did let her borrow a portable compressor but not man enough blow up the tyre. She then had to wait two hrs for RAC.

Very rude staff, went in early morning to get coffee the door was open, started to make the coffee and was told my staff to get out and use the window as the shop was closed

There is that one young looking male staff that works there who always talks and act like a rasist person . Whether we have gone there for refuelling or to buy vapes he always wants to check our ID and always really unhappy to provide receipts. I'd get it if it was once or twice but 3-4 times a week!! Does he got Dementia?I have been a regular customer of that garage cause i live nearby for the past 2 years and still he does that quite often while other 2 staff who work there never even bothered and they always treated us well. Today he did not allow my brother to vape while standing in the corner and was quite rude about it and my brother did not vape afterwards. It was around 11 of night and I went there to buy vapes and he were asking if i have a ID with me. I did let him know that i was not carrying one at the moment but one of my friend was with me at that time was happy to buy those vapes showing his ID but that staff did not allowed him to buy also saying he can challenge all 3 of us to show him our ID like what sort of policy is that !!! So i went back to our home to get my ID. When i came back there was some local white males and they were smoking vapes and he he did not even say a word to the white boys who was vaping standing in front of him. When i asked him why are we being treated like that he simply denied saying he did not see them vaping!! They were litteraly vaping in front of him while he was doing their checkouts.Is it because we are brown that we got treated unequally there?There are so many bad reviews on google regarding staffs behaviour and ethics of that Spar garage but how they are getting away doing all this?By doing all these they are not just ruining the name of their store which is Spar but also ruining the name of Shell.I think proper guidance is needed if that young Male staff don't know how to deal with customers in a proper manner and of course not in a rasist way. Higher authorities should take proper actions before they get their fame down because of their staffs actions.

NEVER going to this fuel station again doesn't deserve one star. Hubby was trying to put £50 fuel in and guy inside stopped him at £43 and went over the intercom number 7 come to the front. Hubby went inside and was accused of wanting to drive off. Umm hello how would he want to drive off while still putting fuel in. The manager needs to sort his staff out and is lucky I never went in.

Just been in on a motorbike, rude staff would not dispense fuel unless I fully removed my helmet. Quoting "it's company policy and we won't sell you fuel without removing helmet." Actually policy states you can lift visor, as does the forecourt signage so they can determine you are over 16! The fact I was on a 1000cc sports bike and went into store with visor up before wasn't enough for them. Learn the policies if you are trying to enforce them. Use your brains if you have them, can't ride anything bigger than 50cc at 16.

The dirtiest petrol station I have ever been to- don't think its ever been cleaned! The hoses are impossible to pull out which is probably due to poor maintenance. On the plus side the young lad behind the counter was delightful.

Why this place is so busy is a mystery. Premium prices for tarmac slick with diesel, overflowing bins and no customer toilet. Not good enough.

I went to fill up my motorbike, the staff member rather aggressively shouted across the forecourt infront of other customers at me to remove my OPEN FACE helmet, everyone could see my face, so I don’t understand the hostility, Martin the manger didn't care.

The lady working New Year’s Eve overnight gave me quite honestly the best customer service I have ever received. I have worked in retail management for the past four years and would be proud to have someone on my team who sets such a high standard for service.
