Amazing staff, very friendly and welcoming. Food is always on point, especially the burgers and the chicken wings. Good place to watch a football match, definitely better than All Stars. Would recommend it ??

I went to The Cricketers at about 16:45 on a Tuesday with my sister, and we were planning to eat. We sat in there for all of 5 minutes and decided to leave. They were playing some kind of hardcore music, and then they split the sound system so some of the pub has the music, then some of it had what was on one of the TV screens. It really was awful and quite honestly it reflects on the staff they have working there, most likely people of college age who haven't a clue how to run a pub. It seems this is a bit of a theme looking at other recent reviews. It's a shame as I was there with a friend for food Saturday night, and both the food and music were brilliant. Someone from Stonegate management needs to spend some time here to understand these issues. I would happily do it for you!

We came for a family meal with relative's that we don't get to see often, it's a half way point for us so perfect. At the start, the service was absolutely great & I had no complaints at all. Our food took about an hour to arrive, but there were about 12 of us, so understandable. There were a few issues with food, wrong meals, but they were rectified and the guy apologised. What got me was when my son's ice-cream came over, and on the menu it states chocolate sauce, it came out with banoffee sauce. I politely spoke to the guy at the bar and asked if we could change it for chocolate, he proceeded to radio the kitchen in front of me & my son where the kitchen staff, said yes he sent down banoffee and then swore.. I assume it was an inconvenience to him that I was asking to change it. The guy then simply walked away from me and didn't even acknowledge me! I had to ask the lady at the bar if they wanted the other ice-cream back, for the man to shrug his shoulders at me.. I then came to pay for our meal, as it was on a tab, he loaded the balance to the card machine, for him to walk away and start serving other people. I assumed it had gone through and said thankyou to him, for him to not acknowledge me, again. It was extremely rude & unprofessional. Myself & another person on my table are qualified chefs & it was nothing short of appalling behaviour. It has put me off coming again in the future.

Need a new DJ asap, went 02/12 the DJ was incredibly rude, wouldn't take song requests even though it was the classic song Roxanne by the police that multiple people had requested, he refused and continued to say the customers were rude and aggressive l, so disappointed will not be returning

Staff are pathetic. Need to get experienced staff not young diks that think they can run the place . Don’t bother going here if you want to enjoy the success of your family member , as the staff are very judgmental, cause they didn’t listen at school , and have no future . Total crap . Only put one star as you can’t put non , but I would go non

I came here yesterday with a few of my friends. The atmosphere and the staff were all amazing and made us all feel welcomed! They had a laugh and a joke with us all customer service was excellent and the food was great! Definitely would recommend this place! Can’t thank you enough to the manager and staff for making it a great experience! Will be coming back again soon!

Went in for lunch with my family for some lunch and the woman behind the bar had a right attitude told me I am to stop swearing when she told a member of staff to f### right in front of my nan and then refused to surve any off us as we all look under age she doesn't belive my nan is 61 and said I am only 15 when I have I'd saying I am 20 and that if we don't leave the pub the police will be called I WILL NEVER GO BACK SHE SOULD NOT HAVE A JOB
