The work Christmas meal ?A pre-ordered dinner for 14 of us. I absolutely loved how this wasn't your average set Christmas menu. Some really quirky dishes on offer. (Swipe for a glance at the menu).I ordered the risotto, which was missing the egg, but the enormous bhaji made up for it ? it was very tasty. The crème brulé for pud was also ?, however I'm not sure why it came with some shop bought meringue ?The order:2 courses for £263 courses for £33? Visited in December 2023

I really hope the belly pork on the festive menu is kept on next year's menu as I can't wait to go back and have it again. It was truly the best belly pork I've had in a long time and the crackling on top was superb!The restaurant is much longer than you would think from the outside as there is a big room at the back for large parties. We had a lovely work Christmas lunch here, the staff were fantastic, checking we were ok for drinks, the décor was lovely and the atmosphere was great.If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend you check Tristan's out, it's one of the best restaurants in Taunton!

A real gem. Food quality and service second to none. Fillet steak and portobello mushroom delicious. Wife asked she could have an omelette and they obliged with no hesitation.

Friendly staff,Beautiful little place that's like the tardis with hidden space at the back.Food was unbelievably good.It was a set menu but me and my husband shared abit of eachothers so we could try more.Would definitely recommend for food.

We visited this bistro to celebrate a birthday. Overall our experience was very good and the food delicious. I had the ox cheek dish which was tender and tasty. However my husband could not eat the parsnips in his dish as they were hard and burnt, having been cut too thin and overcooked. He did complain that they were inedible, but had no feed back. Would recommend this restaurant, but don't order parsnips!
Came in for a meal because I was too lazy to find food at home, the food here was excellent, I had the brie and a sirloin and it was delish and the cremé brûlée was divine (little bit boozy ?) Very excited for the Christmas menu, the burger looks amazing

Myself and my beloved decided to go here for her birthday and we're very glad we did. We had a starter and main meal, we were too full for dessert They had lager and cider on draught at very reasonable prices for a restaurant.I had the ham hock starter which was delicious followed by a sirloin steak medium rare which was cooked to perfection.My wife had the slow cooked chicken as her main.No real complaints but she found the mashed potato a little salty.Apart from that it was a very enjoyable experience.The staff were very efficient and friendly.We look forward to seeing them again,soon.
