“Popped in for a bite to eat. Nice to see a build your own children’s menu, my son was over the moon. Staff were all brilliant, food was lovely. Will definitely be back when next passing through.”

“A great find! A lovely coffee shop tucked away in the old Mill building in Tonedale, Wellington. A serious coffee game as well as they have their own roastery that supplies coffee to local cafes.
The coffee was spot on, I had a slice of date and apple pie that was delicious. There were a lot of other cakes and pastries on offer as well as a more comprehensive brunch menu.
It was busy so there was a nice atmosphere when I went but there are plenty of tables and outside seating as well.
Well worth a visit.”

“Excellent quality meals and reasonable prices. Not sure that salad goes with curry or chilli con carne though!”

“Lovely, well maintained, clean comfortable. Shower in the ensuite was a bit rubbish and the bookcase in the way of the room door was a pain to get stuff past. Otherwise the staff were lovely the breakfast was great. Car park and beer garden lovely. Dogs were made welcome too. Would definitely stay again if I needed to be in the area.”
“Very friendly and helpful. Had a great roast, beef was tender and the turkey succulent, both cooked really well. Excellent service, would definitely visit again. Good ales too!”

“Went for Sunday lunch with a group. Roast pork was delicious and service was good. This is a village pub worthy of support.”
