Very friendly and welcoming staff. I was looked after and gent called Nibras which had very good knowledge of the menu and understanding of dietary requirements. The food was amazing! Highly recommend.

What an excellent change within the Tamarind Bay! The two brothers Naz & Nibras have really gone above and beyond to make a big difference. A massive difference within the food so hats off to the chef! They are really passionate about the industry and will definitely become successful. Everyone needs to give these boys a chance as the previous management and food was not the greatest. They have made a big difference which was needed! Will definitely be back and cannot wait for the refurbishment! Everyone must try Tamarind Bay 100 times better then last time!

Recently, I had the pleasure of taking my girlfriend out for dinner at Tamarind Bay, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite it being quiet, there was a comfortable buzz that made the place feel welcoming, without being overwhelming. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Tikka Masala. It was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly balancing the rich and creamy sauce with tender, well-seasoned chicken. The flavors were a testament to the skill and attention to detail of the chefs. The staff at Tamarind Bay deserve a special mention for their friendliness and attentiveness. They made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect, attending to our needs without being intrusive. In summary, Tamarind Bay isn't just a restaurant; it's a delightful culinary journey. It's the perfect place for a quiet, cozy dinner where the food and the atmosphere combine to create a memorable experience. We left with satisfied palates and the certainty that we would be returning soon.

Disappointed with the food quality, lamb chewy, onions undercooked, and tasteless, Aligobi was also tasteless, it used to be a great resturant, must have a new chef and owners.

We had a takeaway. The food was so greasy and didn’t taste anywhere near the standard it used to be.. I don’t know if they have had a change of ownership or chef. The meal left us all with a horrible taste and we couldn’t eat much because it wasn’t a tasty or enjoyable meal at all. We really couldn’t stomach food from here again. It used to be first class food so we find it really sad that the quality and taste of the food has gone down the pan. If it has been a few months since you last ate food from here, recommend that you do NOT do it again - you’ll be really disappointed.

After a previous terrible experience we thought we would give them a second chance… NEVER AGAIN Took 2 hours to be delivered, it was spilt all over the bag and it was cold and barely edible! Not happy

Hello, I couldn't get through by phone and you don`t have an email. So I`ll message you on here. My brother said he was on his way to mine and had ordered takeaway tonight. The delivery man knocked and checked the details and house number 14. Before I put it the oven on low to keep warm I was aware it was the wrong order. My brother had ordered from a Chinese. This Indian order must be for some very disappointed customer who hasn't received their food. I can only apologise for not catching up with the delivery man in time. It is still here, if someone can collect.

Home Delivery, all food cold, had to be microwaved, missing some Garlic Naan, won't be using again 1 hour and 50 mins from point of order to arriving

As visitors to the area, we always do a little research on eateries and Tamarind Bay restaurant had some good comments. We gave it a try and were pleased we had, the food we ordered was very nice.Only disappointing thing is, we don't live close enough to use it regularly.

The positives, the waiter was very friendly and attentive and the poppadoms were nice. And that was it. The rest: I like an Indian meal as a little treat when I'm away on my own. I was looking forward to this. However, it was not to be... Being vegetarian I selected the Paneer dish, expecting the chewy Indian cheese and, as a 'medium' spice strength. Plus rice. It came as boiled vegetables in a sauce with simply cheddar cheese melted on top, not Indian paneer. There was zero spice to it. In fact, no flavour at all! Where was the cardamon, the fragrant flavours, coriander etc? Just nothing. To top it all, I was charged twice for the single beer. Admittedly, I was offered a refund on this but tbh I, by this point, just wanted to leave. £19 paid and left feeling hungry and miffed.

Ordered via their website, 1hr 15min wait, wrong food delivered, after lots of phone calls (and time) finally got through to be told its 10 minutes away, wait another 30 minutes, call again and finally arrived 25 minutes afterwards. 3 hours total after ordering! Food was not up to usual standards. We have used tamarind bay for 6+ years with no problems. judging by recent reviews things have gone massively down hill regarding service and quality. We really want to give them another chance in the future but dont want to waste my money and time.
