I experience the culinary pleasures of Sonnis Cafe on a regular basis due to being a big fan of microwave meals & nowhere does them as good as these guys "compliments to the chef & the microwave"The 1 star hygiene rating doesn't bother me, the sticky floors & stained ceiling tiles add a bit of rustic charm to the establishment. The front of house staff are wonderful & are a credit to the business, please ignore the tag on Kelly's ankle, she is a kind soul & is still adamant that she is innocent bless herIt's a shame that Tash is leaving but a full time career opportunity dancing at a gentlemen's club is too good to turn down, especially as it is an underlying passion of hers"top food, top service & if you're lucky, you won't get food poisoning.....will be back"Kid-friendliness: due to being short staffed they often ask my children to man the microwave.....the soft play area consists of a dirty mattress but the kids love itWheelchair accessibility: quite tight fitting my wheelchair through the cat flap

Such bad service it was funny. We were met by a woman who literally looked like she wanted to end it all. She said "20 minute wait. Still wanna order?" There's a sign up saying if you have any dietary requirements to let staff know. I asked if the sausages were gluten free. The larger, still very miserable, lady on the till rolled her eyes and shuffled off into the kitchen to ask. Came back with the answer of "We don't know" (It's not hard to look on a label! ) I then asked if they had GF bread...she again sighed very loudly, shuffled off again and came back... "No" So rude and un-helpful it actually made my husband and I laugh. To top it all off tge cafe gradually emptied without us getting our food and she shuffled by to say theyd missed our order but theyd do it now!! Food was quite nice in fairness once it finally arrived. The chef then came out of the kitchen and yelled at her "There's a list thats got dietary stuff on it!" to which she just blanked him... and stood watching the younger girl do all the work, sweeping and clearing tables. If this woman is the owner then she's damaging her business, if she's employed.... then the owner needs better staff! ?

I have visited this cafe occasionally for their ‘big boy’ breakfast, which I had this morning. I am afraid it wasn’t much of a pleasure to start the week. The techno trance hits of the ‘90’s coming from the TV wasn’t really right for the morning. I requested the news, but was told that it was unavailable and they could only play stuff from the internet? The cafe itself is clean and tidy, with the staff pleasant enough, but a bit remote. The breakfast was very average in quality of the ingredients, but as it’s name suggests, fairly generous in portion size. It also has a new price of £11.25, which is starting to get a bit tasty on its own. I must concur with another reviewer, in criticising the tomato ketchup, just cheap and nasty, very thin stuff. The coffee was nice, though, but could of had a larger mug to match the rest of the meal? All in all, I would give it an adequate rating, but, I expect ‘Sonni’s’ will be glad to hear, that I have decided not to visit again as there are other restaurants that offer a more pleasant experience all round.

Just popped in to get breakfast whilst waiting for my car. The full English breakfast was great. Included all the main selections and was cooked to how I liked them plus with a decent cup of tea. Simple and classic.
