First time using this Chinese and we had a great experience. We ordered food on the website for delivery & within 30 mins the food was at the door. It was hot, reasonably priced and tasty. We will definitely use again.

After looking at the reviews on Tripadvisor we chose this takeaway based on its ratings and it did not disappoint. We rang up when they opened on a Sunday night and within 30 minutes we picked up our large order and the food was superb! Would highly recommend. Great food and lovely service. Thank you sugar cane!

Takeaway. Great ingredients - meat and veg and mushrooms and rice lovely. Prawns were pink and looked good quality. Only thing is curry sauce was watery and seemed rushed, and prawn balls batter was thin so prawns were mostly burned and hard.First time here because my fave shuts Wednesdays. Bit pricey too.

Food wasn’t exceptional but not bad.I chose a time slot and it was ready before it, that’s either a positive or a negative depending on situation.The prawns in my house special chow mein were quite small and there was a lot of chicken, so not really what I had in mind. I’ve had wonton soup from here before in the past and it lacked flavour.There is a lot of potential for this place, it’s just not there yet for me. However, they have an easy to use website so that is a bonus!

I can see take away is popular as the food was delicious. But the front of house was Mardy, the decor hasn't been touched since 1975 and it was devoid of atmosphere. I'll use them again but not sit in!

Regularly use the Sugar cane mainly for take out. Never had a bad meal from them so happily recommend. They also deliver locally for a small fee. There is a restaurant space but we have never used and not sure if it a actually in use.
