The Christmas food was lovely, good comments from the party about the Brownie. It was a shame there wasn't more of a Christmas feel to the pub, maybe a bit of background Christmas music, but overall the meal was well received, which is always a good thing.

Booked a room at short notice, and the green room accommodated.Had a new room 19 was very clean and nicely finished. Had food in the restaurant and was very good. I missed breakfast due to an early start, so I missed the full English.If in the area again would stay atbthe green room.

6 of us (5 adults and 1 child) went to the green rooms for dinner this evening. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was great. The portion sizes were very filling and the menu was accommodating to those with dietary requirements. The children's menu was slightly more limited but when my daughter said she was hoping for pasta (not on the kids menu) they were really happy to accommodate this and made her very happy! The food came out quickly and the staff were great. We will definitely be coming back.

We had the Sunday lunch special. A beautiful 3 course meal for €19.95. The food was delicious and well presented. There was a generous amount. The staff were friendly and attentive and the meal was presented in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful meal.

What a fantastic place! The room was clean and tidy, clearly not brand new but everything was as it should be. Restaurant was lovely and the food excellent.
