Possibly the worst takeaway ever experienced. The only dish which resembled the description were the chips which were soggy and stone cold. The crispy lamp wasn’t ! It was stringy and full of fat. The squid was so chewy and clearly not fresh - totally inedible. Dry noodles and a chicken dish which had chicken with a slimy texture. Nothing appetising and went in the bin.We had cheese and biscuits instead !

Ordered lamb curry & chipsChips were very dry. Lamb Curry well lamb was stringy and full of grizzle. The curry part only tasted of powder no curry flavour at all. It ended up in bin.NOT IMPRESSED WITH RUBBISH FOOD doesn't even deserve 1 star. Won't go

Omg just had food . Was terrible found a fish bone in my special fried rice . Also the chicken green curry was cover in a glue like substance and my husband chicken curry was like rubber . What a waste of £40 I will never eat there

I've been using lakeside for years but the meal I've had today was terrible so bad we had to through it away. I don't know if it has changed hands or the chef has changed but I will not be using it again

Driver couldn’t find my place so just drove by me twice? When the food did arrive it was disgusting & stone cold, if your old chef was still in the store I may have just eaten it & put up with the £23 loss but this new guy hasn’t got a clue how to make anything salt & pepper, the noodles tasted like you’d just microwaved them? Get the old chef back or close this place before you kill someone.

Me and my friend went in to order, when we got home with our food we noticed the chips were missing and the pancakes for our duck was literally stuck together you could not pull them apart as well as parts of them been hard. We phoned them up to make them aware, the lady on the phone was rude about this stating we did not order chips and we just ordered curry sauce. I understand things get missed off orders but to be rude implying we did not order this when we did ask for this on our order seemed as though they were basically saying it was our fault. We was told we had to pay an extra £2 for new chips and that they would provide new pancakes. We asked for this to be delivered as we’d already been to pick our order up and was not our fault as this was a mistake on their behalf and we was told there was no delivery drivers, however there was literally a delivery driver in there when we ordered. Due to this we had to drive all the way back through meaning the rest of our food was now cold to eat. For the staff to tell us there was nothing they could do and all they could say was sorry, the least they could do was deliver to us when the fault was on there end. Very disappointed as we order all the time and we will definitely not be ordering again now due to the service we received.

First time here. We were really happy with the food. I had duck in hot garlic sauce which was tasty and had fresh chillies. The house special fried rice was a little more "liquidy" than the norm, but it had loads of meet and big prawns, so was a good choice. We recommend!

I'd heard good things about this place. We decided to order Takeaway for Mothers Day. We called in and placed the order, we came back later when it was ready. I paid contactless. It came to 21 Quid for 3 adults. Very good value for money, 3 Mains and 3 lots of rice with prawn crackers thrown in for free. The food was very good and no-one went hungry, we all had a couple of helpings ;-)
