Unfortunately the chips were soggy as was the batter on the mini fish and sausage, the mini fish was very mini no more than a tail & the homemade fish cake lacked fish and seasoning, staff need to let the oil drain before packing and make sure the oil is to temp before putting in the chipsEdit: To the owners response, whilst I appreciate you are a small business and times are difficult for all, Google reviews are a personal review of your services,no 2 will be the same, however I appreciate honest reviews and I read them before trying, I wouldn't ask for a refund the food wasn't inedible just not up to par, Saturday 12th

Worst chips I’ve ever tasted. Literally taste like they’re fried in 6 month old oil. Can’t actually taste potato. First time I thought i was unlucky and it was a one off, but I’ve been 3 times and it’s always the same! Oh and this time the gravy was like water. Safe to say won’t be going again!

The best Fish and Chips I've ever had perfectly cooked. Falls to pieces in the mouth. Chips were fresh ? they cook the fish fresh to order would definitely recommend a visit. Please note they request you to pay in cash if you can but card payments are accepted as well but they are charged for the card service.

We ordered and collected. And sadly the chips were really light coloured and harder in the middle we think they were undercooked. So we called the shop and no one answered so I left a message on their voicemail and no one got back to me, it was a couple of weeks ago now but I won't be going back because it wasn't the first time it happened here. The first time we ordered it was great we loved it and thought we had to go back so we did a few times and a couple of the times we had the undercooked chips and now we drive Futher afield to order it's just too risky I can't guarantee whether it's going to be nice or not.
Nice fish n chips for a reasonable price.
