I was in your boozer on the 13th or 14th January and I was wondering if any of the bar maids have found a phone it's not worth much but it's got the only photos of my Dad who isn't here if you could please check in the bar as its the last place I remember having it. One of the Barmaids put it on charge for me. If you find it can you please give it to Macca Winstanley ?

A nice village pub with a good selection of ales. The staff were friendly and service was quick. There's a pool table and darts board and the layout of the pub has plenty of seating and space.
This room would rate a 5 star easily it was impeccably clean and spacious but the batteries in the remote need renewing and no milk but everything else 5 star thank you

We didn’t expect much as this is a budget stay, above a pub. We booked three nights in December as it was the closest place to stay near relatives while visiting from Australia. My husband also knew the pub as he’d lived in the area for many years. We knew it would be basic. The good: clean, spacious room with excellent shower! Coffee/ tea making facilities and cereals for breakfast if you want any. The staff we met were very nice and helpful. The bad: NO HEATING! When we stayed temperatures were below 0 and there was frost on the ground, yet there was no heating in the room. After sleeping fully clothed for 2 nights we checked out and the nice staff refunded the third night. This isn’t acceptable and staff were aware there are issues with the heating! I have to ask why rooms continue to be let when there is such an ongoing issue that needs sorting or at least put fab heaters in the rooms. The mattress on the bed was well worn and needs changing too. Not comfortable. Whoever is managing this place and leaving their nice staff to deal with unhappy customers needs to sort it out or risk loosing great staff and more customers. Paying a budget price shouldn’t result in a lack of basic facilities and if that’s the issue put your prices up and sort the problems! Avoid booking in winter months!

Nice pub with small garden. Lager(fosters) was vile and tangy couldn't drink the pint.

Clean, staff were friendly couldnt do enough to help. The bed was comfy and the room was brilliant. Partner said the shower was great

Room was basic but comfy (slept better than in my own bed), only reason for no 5* was no food available due to lack of chef. Apart from that, will definitely book again next time in in the Doncaster area
Busy, but cozy and nice.
Awesome!
